Event #288

The rain just about held off for our twenty tremendous Dukeries junior parkrunners this morning.
We welcomed five first timers to our parkrun from Bradford, Bingley and Ollerton, hope to see you again soon.
We had two fantastic personal bests well done Alexander H and Joss L.

We couldn’t have held our Parkrun without our fourteen fabulous volunteers. Thank you. If you fancied having a go at volunteering we have spaces over the next few weeks.

All our runners and volunteers were brilliant .

Event #287 - The fun final one of the summer holidays 🏝️

What a fun morning for a junior parkrun. It was warm and sunny and thankfully the ground had dried after this week's rain 🌞

Well done to the 15 juniors and their families for joining us 🏃🏃🏻‍♀️🤸‍♂️🚶🚶‍♀️

It was lovely to meet new families visiting us whilst on their holibobs locally 🏕️⛺

We had a fun warm up including chasing chickens 🐔 and spying pirates 🏴‍☠️ (thanks Viki)

And then some epic efforts from our juniors 🤗

Who's joining us for a junior parkrun in the morning? 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️

It's our last event of the school holidays and we'd love for you to keep moving this summer with a hop, skip, walk, jog or run around our course 🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🤸🏼‍♀️🚶🏼‍♀️🚶‍♂️
