🏉 THE WAIT IS FINALLY OVER! 💚

Tomorrow, Sunday 6th September, we kick off the 2026/27 Minis & Juniors season and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome back our returning players, coaches, volunteers and families — and, of course, all our new players joining the club for the first time. 🙌

It’s training for all age groups tomorrow and we’re especially excited to see this season’s Colts group train together for the first time, as well as welcoming all the Cotswold Lionesses to Hollybush for the first joint training session of the season. Junior Touch is also back at it after a highly successful summer.

The coffee will be brewed, the bacon sarnies ready and the kit shop will be open. We can’t wait to see you!

We will be holding the Annual General Meeting of Minchinhampton Rugby Football Club Ltd
on Tuesday 29th September at Hollybush after Senior training.

The AGM is an important meeting and requires a minimum number of members to attend in order that business can be properly conducted, and motions approved!

It is an opportunity for the Exec to update club members on club performance, progress and plans for the future, and for members to have an opportunity to ask questions. The Executive team will be elected at the meeting.

The agenda will include:
1. Open meeting – Procedural formal opening
2. Update from Club Chairman
3. Finance Update
4. Election of officers
Members are welcome to raise items of business for inclusion in agenda; if you would like to
raise any items of business for consideration please submit these by close of play by COP Tuesday 15th September in writing (email) to Tristan Iles, Club Secretary: [email protected].

Before the rains finally came the Seniors went to the first ever Silent Tournament hosted by Ledbury Rugby Club a couple of weeks ago.
Wearing earbuds to experience deaf rugby was enlightening and something most of us hadn’t considered before, may it be the first of many Silent Tournaments.

A super day out - lots of fun, new experiences and as always good Minch banter.

Good luck to England Deaf Rugby in the World Cup later this year!

A fantastic time was had at our Minis & Juniors Taster Session yesterday! 🏉💚

We loved meeting so many new faces, showing them what rugby at Minchinhampton is all about, and seeing everyone get stuck in and having fun.

A massive thank you to all of our coaches and volunteers for giving up their time during the off season to put on both of our taster sessions.

Following England Rugby’s decision to delay the start of the competitive contact rugby season until the week commencing 21st September, we wanted to clarify what this means for Minchinhampton RFC. Read below 👇🏻

Player safety remains our top priority and we’ll continue to monitor conditions and adapt activity where necessary, as we always do.

🚨 IMPORTANT NOTICE – SITE WIDE BAN ON NAKED FLAMES 🚨

Due to the current dry conditions and increased risk of fire, there is an immediate ban on all naked flames at the club for the time being.

🚭 No smoking anywhere on site
🔥 No use of the BBQ or pizza oven

There have already been fires in the area and this is about keeping our club, our members, visitors and the wider community safe. Please respect the ban and help us reduce the risk of fire during these exceptionally dry conditions.
