Huge congratulations to our U15s Team Manager, Suzanne, for being awarded Gloucestershire RFU 🏉 Volunteer of the Year at a ceremony at Kingsholm today! Suzanne goes through to the RFU national final held at Allianz Stadium 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Suzanne was nominated by the club for being the driving force behind creating a combined team with our friends over at Dursley RFC. At a time when keeping youth rugby thriving can be a real challenge, Suzanne worked tirelessly with the teams at Minch and Dursley to bring players together, organise logistics, coordinate with coaches and parents, and ensure that the boys could continue doing what they love — playing rugby with their friends. We are so proud that Suzanne’s efforts have been recognised by the GRFU and this award is richly deserved!

Congratulations also to our U14 Girls Head Coach, Mike Webb, on his nomination. It’s fantastic to have two hard-working volunteers nominated for their commitment to our club and we are very grateful for all that you both contribute 💚

This summer we’re hosting two free rugby taster sessions for boys and girls aged 4 to 11 - come and see what rugby at Minch is all about!

Minch Junior Touch squad had a fantastic time competing in the South on Sunday. The team was made up of boys and girls with a mix of ages averaging well below the U14 category they competed in. Our squad played brilliantly, with 2 wins, 2 losses and a draw, and had a great time together as a team. Well done to all of our players! 👏🏻

During Volunteers’ Week (1-7 June), we want to take a moment to celebrate and thank the incredible people who give their time, energy and passion to our club.

Behind every successful rugby club is a team of dedicated volunteers, and we’re fortunate to have some of the very best at Minchinhampton RFC. From those working behind the scenes to those on the sidelines every week, your commitment keeps the club running and helps create a fantastic environment for everyone involved.

Whether you’re a coach, team manager, committee member, or one of the many others who step up whenever needed, your contribution makes a huge difference. So much of what you do happens quietly in the background, but it never goes unnoticed and these photos show only a tiny fraction of our volunteer team.

The list of people to thank is long, and our appreciation is even greater. Quite simply, we couldn’t do it without you.

A massive thank you to everyone who came along to our Senior Awards Dinner and helped make it such a great evening. It was brilliant to get everyone together and celebrate another season at Minch. Thanks as well to everyone who bought raffle tickets and donated prizes – your support is hugely appreciated.

Friday night saw our Minis and Juniors come together for an epic End of Season Awards presentation and party, with around 500 people enjoying the celebrations 🥳

We were privileged to have legend as our special guest presenting a number of the awards and we gave him a warm Minch welcome. Thank you Lewis, we really appreciate you giving up your time and hope you’ll visit us again in the future! 👏🏻

A huge thank you to all our volunteers for their hard work in organising and supporting such a brilliant event for our families that showcased the best of our club - the wonderful feedback received has been overwhelming and we couldn’t do any of it without you! 💚

Congratulations to all our winners and to every single player for a fantastic season, and thank you to our coaches, team managers and all the other volunteers for the time and effort they put in every week to provide an amazing rugby experience for our young players. 💪🏻
