Minchinhampton Tennis Club

Minchinhampton Tennis Club Offers social, junior and team tennis. Three LED floodlit artificial clay courts. Coaching programme. The courts were re-painted in 2010.

Founded in 1969, the Club moved to its present site on the Stuart Playing field in 1971, with a clubhouse and three courts. It soon became established as a force in Gloucestershire tennis and in 1983 Minchinhampton was one of the first clubs in the county to install floodlights. Major improvements were completed in the summer of 2005, these included resurfacing of the courts and new floodlights on all the courts. Membership of seniors and juniors has continued to flourish and we are proud of the achievements of so many players and teams over the years. The Stuart Playing field is just off Tobacconist Road, a short distance from the centre of Minchinhampton. This private field, shared with Minchinhampton Cricket and Football Clubs, is managed as a charity by Minchinhampton Sports Association. There is ample parking behind the Sports and Social Club, at the entrance to the Playing field. Cross the field to the Tennis Courts.
