⚽️ NXTGEN TRAINING SESSION ⚽️

Our players had a great session with NXT GEN🔥

These sessions are fantastic for our players as they give them the opportunity to experience different coaching styles while also learning new skills and techniques.

Max is fantastic with the players, and his enthusiastic personality really brings the best out of them. His energy and encouragement motivates our players to work hard. 💪

A huge thank you to Max and the NxtGen team for another excellent session and for continuing to help our players develop both individually and as a team. ⚽️

It’s also great for us as coaches to be able to step back during these sessions and see what a fantastic group of players we have at the club, showing respect, listening intently and putting effort in. 😊

Following the launch of our new fortnightly programme, Future Athletes and NXTGEN are coming together again for a dedicated three-hour masterclass during the September weekend.

The session will connect each player’s football and physical development, while the testing will give our coaches a clearer understanding of their current speed profile and stage of maturation.

FUTURE ATHLETES × NXTGEN

We’re excited to officially launch a new collaboration bringing together technical football development and athletic performance within one structured programme.

Each 90-minute session combines:

⚽ 45 MIN | TECHNICAL BALL WORK
High-intensity technical development focused on individual ability, movement, ex*****on and decision-making — including explosive movement, acceleration and change of direction with the ball.

⚡ 45 MIN | ATHLETIC DEVELOPMENT
Developing the physical qualities that support performance on the pitch — speed, acceleration, explosive power, strength, movement quality, agility and coordination.

Players will also have access to performance testing, which may include growth & maturation monitoring, sprint testing and jump testing to help track physical development and progression.

We're delighted to announce our new partnership with Nxt Gen.

At Troon FC 2016s, we're always looking for opportunities that help our players develop both on and off the pitch, and this partnership is another exciting step forward.
