Northdown CC was established in 1954. We currently play in Division 9 of the Kent Cricket League on a Saturday. On Sunday's, we play friendly cricket.

We are a warm, friendly and inviting cricket club, welcoming of players of all ages and ability!

Big thanks to Folkestone Cricket Club for stepping up and travelling down to Margate tomorrow.

Tomorrow’s game sees club legend Bob Green play in his final ever Northdown game.

Also, after the game, Awards Night will commence roughly around 7:30. All are welcome and encouraged to come down, to make it an enjoyable and memorable evening.

It’s a chance to recognise the achievements, hard work and dedication of everyone who has played their part throughout the season, and most importantly, to enjoy a great night together as a club 🍺

🏆 WHAT A DAY! 🏆

We couldn’t be prouder of this incredible team and what they achieved today! 🏏

In their first ever competitive game, the team stepped onto the field, gave it everything they had, and came away as winners of the Deal Victoria & Barns Close CC Softball Festival! 🎉🏆

What an amazing achievement and such a fantastic way to begin their competitive journey. Every single one of them should be incredibly proud! 👏💪

A huge thank you to Deal Vics for their fantastic hospitality and for making all the team feel so welcome. It was a brilliant day of cricket, fun and memories! ❤️

Here are your scorecards from the weekend. Little overdue but been celebrating promotion.

A disciplined bowling display from the boys led by .flooring helped to dismiss Saltwood for 77. Northdown then chased down the target 4 down to secure promotion.

Sunday there weren’t too many positives to take. However, there was a 50 for the evergreen Bob Green and a first ever 50 for ___joemorris

On Saturday promotion was secured to Division 8 of the Kent Cricket League after a convincing 6 wicket victory 🏏

This was also our 4th promotion since joining the Kent Cricket League 10 years ago, which is a remarkable achievement for the club 🆙

We won’t stop here, as we will aim to push on and go again 💪🏻

Then on Sunday we travel to Faversham as we take on Davington Priory Cricket Club for the first time!
