MAYHEM!! 🥹🥹

I NEVER post full videos of routines, for many reasons, however the main reason is because it’s way too easy for people to learn your choreography and teach it as their own, and social media can be seen by anyone and everyone, know matter how close or far away people are, and I am someone that takes a lot of pride in the choreography I create!! ✨✨ However, they are only a 5&Under Team (Luna being in this team on the percentage you are allowed above the age of 5), and if people want to copy this age groups choreography, go ahead!! 🤪🤪

These 3-6 year olds learnt this in 30 MINUTES!! 😍😍 We had weekly follow up sessions to practise, but they were also doing set solos, solos and duos in this time too!! 👏👏 What these little people have achieved in just MINUTES, is absolutely INCREDIBLE!! 🤩🤩 How have they done this?? 🤔🤔 Well it’s a combination of quality teaching with clear instructions and experience in training this age group, and parents/guardians who have been supportive of their journeys and encouraged practise at home!! 💪💪

I’m still so proud of them taking away 1st place, I was unsure which way the results would go, as this age group is so hard to judge, but I’m so proud of them that it was them, because in my eyes they are the brightest stars they could be!! 🔥🔥

I really cannot wait to see where this little but mighty group go next with their dance journeys, because the potential in this group is unmatched, I mean 30 minutes, these tots aren’t playing!! 💁‍♀️💁‍♀️

SHOW PROGRAMMES!! 🤩🤩

We all know we LOVE our show programmes, especially since every single dancer in the show is featured in the programme with their headshot!! 😍😍

This year we are doing something a bit different though… I just thought we couldn’t do a 90’s show and not have FUN with it, life’s wayyyyy to serious these days, so what better way to help us have fun than to finish the show with a 90’S PARTY DANCE MEGAMIX!! 🙌🙌 But we want EVERYONE to be up dancing along with us and having fun!! 🔥🔥 There’s a time to be boring, and tomorrow WON’T be that time!! 😅😅

But to make it that bit more FUN, we will be selling each programme with a glow stick, they come as a PACKAGE DEAL, so that when we do our after show Party Dance MEGAMIX, you can get involved by waving your stick around, so whether you just want to sit and wave the glow stick or stand up and do the dances with us, you can’t get out of having fun and getting involved!! 👏👏 I can already here the parents/guardians moaning at yet another mad idea of mine, and that’s absolutely fine by me, but I WILL get people up dancing and having fun, and so will my amazing students!! 🥰🥰

Programmes are usually £5 each, however we will ONLY be selling them as a package deal with the glow stick for £7 each, however if you buy two or more programmes it’s £6 each!! 🫶🫶 ALL PROFITS MADE FROM PROGRAMMES AND GLOW STICKS GO BACK TO THE SCHOOL, and we will announce a total raised from this the day after the show!! 💪💪 It will be cash only tomorrow for these, so please ensure you have the money with you, no reservations or bank transfers accepted!! ✨✨

Our dancers cannot WAIT to dance with their glow-sticks and try to get you all up and involved, and remember if you need a bit of courage, the bar is open before the show and during the interval!! 🤪🤪

ELYZA!! 🔥🔥

Elyza is our youngest student on our Next Gen Intensive programme, but you wouldn’t be able to tell with her abilities!! 🙌🙌 At just turned 10 years old she’s absolutely insane for her age, yet still has enormous amounts of potential, and I just know if she can keep focused and working hard she’s going to achieve insane heights in her dance and be extremely successful!! 🤩🤩 Since being in this programme she’s already improved so much technically, as well as in picking up harder routines than she’s used too, and sometimes we are now starting to see a glimmer of performance from her!! 😍😍 When Elyza brings the whole package to the floor being technique, performance and energy she’s unmatched for her age, and I just wish she could see what we see and the pure potential she has, because if she really went for it just that little bit more there would be no stopping her and she has the potential to give dancers much older than her a run for their money!! 💪💪 Keep up the hard work Elyza and never stop shining bright, we are all so proud of you and we are hoping to get you seeing just how capable and brilliant you are as soon as we can!! 🫶🫶

SHOW DAY IS TOMORROW!! 😍😍

How has it come around this fast?? 😅😅 I am so insanely excited, and cannot wait to see all of my amazing students perform on stage twice tomorrow in two sold out shows!! 👏👏

Each student has worked so incredibly hard and everyone is shining super bright, I just know they are all going to smash it and look amazing!! 🔥🔥 The hard work, determination, focus and energy that these dancers have put in is unmatched!! 💪💪 They really have created something amazing under the support, guidance and training of us teachers!! 🤩🤩

I want to wish everyone GOOD LUCK!! ✨✨ You are all going to SMASH IT, and I’m so very proud of you all!! 🫶🫶

HIGHLIGHT OF THE NIGHT!! 🙌🙌

Last night’s highlight of the night is going to…

LUNA!! 👏👏

Luna is taking away highlight of the night because she knew what she was doing on the silks for the show perfectly and knows the routine that is being done in this class inside out!! 😍😍 She was also being helpful to the students who aren’t doing the show, teaching them a little bit of it so they could work alongside of those doing the show this week and no be left out!! 🤩🤩 She then also worked super hard in her ballet class, staying super focused, working hard and applying all the corrections being given!! 💪💪 Luna is a little superstar, and we couldn’t be prouder of her!! 🥰🥰 Keep up the hard work superstar, and keep on shining bright!! ✨✨

LANA!! 🔥🔥

Lana is on our Junior Intensive programme and is one of the youngest on our programme this year, at only 11 years old!! 🙌🙌 She works so insanely hard and pushes herself that much that sometimes you forget she is so young, because the maturity in her drive, focus and work ethic is unreal!! 💪💪 Lana is working really hard at developing some really advanced skills for her which you can see in this video, and I just know with a few more intensive sessions, and continued hard work in her technical classes that she’s going to really achieve greatness and solidify these skills and develop some really firm and precise technique as she’s so close, and just needs to remember and tweak a few things and all these skills are going to be unmatched!! 🤩🤩 Lana always stand out in a positive way both in the studio, on the stage and in festivals, as she’s always gives so much performance, and never shies away from being bold and bright!! ✨✨ I can only imagine where dance and her training is going to take this superstar because I know that if this is her aged 11, and she’s working the way she works, then once she hits those teenage years she’s going to be unstoppable!! 👏👏

Keep up the hard work Lana, and keep on shining bright!! ⭐️⭐️ We are all so proud of you!! 🥰🥰

Our Saturday morning cuties on the last week of term before October half term!! 💕💕 Such a beautiful class this is, filled with good toes&naughty toes, pizza feet, stretchy legs, tiaras, fairies, skips, diamond bends and tippy toe runs, the perfect combination to starting your weekend in the best way possible!! 🙌🙌

I’m so proud of this class, and the hard work they’ve put in over the past few months, and I cannot wait for everyone to see the difference in these superstars on Saturday at our annual Iconic dance showcase!! 😍😍 They’ve honestly worked so insanely hard, and we are now at a point where they remember their choreography, they remember where they stand, they remember the order in their lines to come on stage, honestly the difference is just unreal, as a year ago those that were with us relied heavily on watching us, but now, they shine brighter than ever before leading the way themselves!! 🥰🥰

This is one of my favourite classes to teach at the minute, and it’s because they all make such a good team, they care for each other beautifully and they are so loving to each other, you can always guarantee they’ll be cuddles in this class!! ✨✨

A huge thank you to my junior and senior ballet dancers who are on pointe that have been assisting in this Saturday morning class leading up to the show, the bonds that have been created from you guys coming in have been amazing to watch grow, and I know these little people are going to have some really beautiful memories to look back on!! 🥹🥹 When you have pre-teens and teens giving up their Saturday mornings and coming in after a late night finish at dance to come and help our tiniest people, you just know you have the right ethos in your school and some beautiful souled dancers!! 🫶🫶

When they forget your phones connected to the speaker, so all you hear from the front door letting people go home is the camera sound repeatedly going off, and you straight away just know what these lot are up too!! 😅😅 Of course with the ring leader was Amelie, AGAIN!! 🤪🤪 But I do love sharing photos of our dance family so I guess I’ll let her off!! 😂😂

I am always so proud of each and every one of my students!! 🫶🫶 They never fail to work hard and try their best, and that’s all I could ever ask from them!! 👏👏 NGD is more about learning steps, choreography and skills, it’s about learning how to be a team, it’s about spending time with friends who feel like family, it’s about creating memories to cherish, it’s about learning life lessons along the way like time management, the list honestly goes on as to what NGD is all about, there is so much, and I’m proud of every student who comes into us and truly embraces the lessons, embraces our family and gives it their all!! 🥰🥰

EMILIA!! 👏👏

Emilia is taking away highlight of the night for her continuous hard work shown throughout classes last night, where she was really listening to corrections for show work, focusing on cleaning her work and using great precision throughout to make all her movements look so precise and effortless!! 🔥🔥 Emilia is a stunning dancer who carries themselves with such poise and presence, and that really stands brightly in a room and allows her to be seen and stand out in such a positive way!! 🤩🤩 I just know she’s going to shine so very brightly in this years show and give everything her absolute all, she’s truly a superstar with still so much potential in store!! 😍😍 Keep up the hard work Emilia and keep on shining bright superstar!! ✨✨ You really are amazing and we are all so very proud of you!! 🫶🫶

COURTNEY!! 🔥🔥

Courtney is on our Senior Next Gen Intensive Programme, and has been working really hard since we started this programme to improve and develop as much as she possibly can as a dancer!! 💪💪 When Courtney’s at dance she focuses on herself and her training only, in breaks she’ll still interact with her friends, but as soon as class mode is on, she’s focused and driven!! 🙌🙌 She doesn’t hold back from performing big and bright, because in her words you might as well perform, because you look more daft not performing, and I love this mindset that she has, especially as I ca see it’s influenced many others to also adopt that mindset!! 😍😍 Courtney has really been working on her technique recently and this has really allowed her to excel especially in her ballet, where at recent events her fabulous placement and technique has been massively noticed and commented on via her report forms!! 👏👏 I just know Courtney will continue to work hard and shine bright and continue to push herself to achieve greatness!! 🥰🥰 Keep up the hard work Courtney, we are all so proud of you!! 🫶🫶
