Tough one today, but plenty to be proud of as well! 🖤💛

FIRST HALF
We started bright and sharp — right on top of the game! We moved well, looked dangerous, and fully earned our lead. Everything clicked, and we were the stronger side for those opening 25 minutes. 💪

SECOND HALF
Harrowby came out strong, and we unfortunately lost our way a little — we couldn’t quite get our passing or rhythm going like before, and the visitors took their chances. Lessons to learn, things to work on — and we absolutely will! 📈

A tough day at the office today for our U11s against a very well-oiled Spilsby side.

It wasn’t our day, but one thing you can never question is the fight and determination of these players. 💪 They kept going, kept battling, and never gave up, even when things weren’t going our way.

Football has days like this. Sometimes the passes don’t quite connect, the chances don’t fall for you, and the result doesn’t reflect the effort being put in.

📢 IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION UPDATE 📢

We want to be absolutely clear: Mablethorpe Tridents JFC IS very much alive and kicking! ⚽🖤💛

We’ve been fighting tooth and nail to keep youth football alive here after the old trustees walked away. Mablethorpe Athletic/Juniors ceased to be an active club from 1st June this year, that is when we formed Mablethorpe Tridents JFC to step in, keep every child playing, and carry this vital service forward.

WE ARE the ONLY active youth football club serving the Mablethorpe area right now.

If you see any mention of the old club, please know: that is NOT us. We are the team working day in, day out for our players, families, sponsors and supporters. building strong teams, keeping costs fair, and keeping football at the heart of our community.

We are here, we are growing, and we aren’t going anywhere. 💪

This was our final warm‑up game before the season kicks off this Sunday and a great test it was too! 💪 Tough result on the board, but pre‑season friendlies are exactly for ironing things out, finding our rhythm, and getting match sharp ahead of the big kick‑off. We take the positives, learn from the rest, and we’ll be ready! 🚀
