This weekend saw our MJFC U14's team head over to Ruskington for their last away game of the season. I've been told there was some brilliant play from both teams with us going into half time with a draw and brilliant goals from Ellis with X2 goals 👏 Jesse scored x1 👏 and Elliot stepping up to bang in our 4th goal 👏 the 2nd half saw what our coach described as a fantastic display of football but Ruskington came away with another goal and the win 👏 big shout out to our player of the match Ellis 👏⚽

This morning our U14'S traveled to Louth to play against Louth Football Club. Before the match our team and all of the teams playing took part in a minute applause for Lucy a Louth town woman's player who recently passed away and all of the crowd showed their respect and joined it 👏 we saw some brilliant football from both teams during the match but our Mablethorpe boys pulled it out of the bag with a 4-3 win 👏 well done to Jesse who scored X2 goals 👏 Elliott with a nice x1 goal 👏 and Ellis with x1 goal 👏 player of the match was awarded to JJ 🏆 for his fantastic effort during all of the game and a big well done to all of the team today 💪⚽👏

Today our U14's travelled away to Young Dons J.F.C in what can only be described as a tough game! But all of our boys pulled together to come away with a well deserved win 🎉 with a 1-1 score at half time everything was to play for and with absolutely fantastic goals from Jesse with a goal 👏 and Kalvin with 2 👏 we pulled it back and held our cool when it got heated at times and came away with our heads high 👏 player of the match was awarded to Phoenix for his amazing performance on the pitch today 👏 also special mentions from our coach to Kalvin for his awesome 2 goals 👏 Kyra for being a rock on the pitch and JJ for running faster than ever well done 👏 well done the the whole team it was a well deserved win and you should be proud ⚽

On Sunday (22nd) our U14's traveled to Wragby for the last game of the year and it was a very side to side match. By the end of the 1st half we were 3 goals up and by the end whistle at full time it was an even score with a massive 6-6 each! Brilliant goals were scored by Ellis with a hatrik 👏 Jesse with X1 👏 Elliott scoring X1👏 and Kalvin bagging X1 👏 players of the match this week were awarded to Jesse and Ellis 🏆 for their brilliant efforts during the game. I would like to wish all of our players, parents and supporters a very merry Christmas and see you all in the new year ⚽

For today's home game we had our remembrance minute silence before the game. With a strong start and loads of effort from the team all the way through today just wasn't our day. 2 brilliant goals we're scored by Ellis👏 and Kalvin👏 and player of the match went to Alfie 🏆👏
