Mid-Season Tryouts! 💛🖤

This month, we’re hosting two tryout sessions for our volleyball teams (Woman’s, Mixed). We’re looking for players with lower intermediate skills and above, so please only sign up if you meet the requirements!

First Match of the Season!!!!
Result: 1-3 to Queen Marys

Despite the result, the mixed team showed incredible resilience and energy in the court. The connection of our new team was great and it was our first match together!

We only go up from here💛🖤

Special shout-out to Kaitlan⁩, our MVP of the match, who absolutely smashed it in the middle against some very tall and strong opponents! Not just for her plays, but also for her great energy and attitude on court.

Honourable mention to Gary our setter who pushed through and played all four sets in a row with great effort!

And let’s not forget all the cheering from outside the court!

With the next season fast approaching, SOAS Volleyball is looking for talented players to join our competitive Mixed team

TRIALS will be on the following DATES:

- September 22nd
- ⁠October 2nd
- ⁠October 6th
- ⁠October 9th

Guess who is back….

Another year another SOAS VOLLEYBALL SEASON!!!

Even though we are gonna miss our fellow graduates, we can’t wait to welcome new players to the team!!!

The last training of the season with our favourite coach deserves many pints and snacks!

We had a lovely tournament to end the season, that brought us closer together as a team and gave a warm goodbye to the players that are leaving us next year🥲

Some of them have been here for a short time and still made a huge impact and some of them have been here too much and dont want to leave us (Papa Riam)

But all in all we wish all the members who are leaving this year the best of luck in their future endeavours and know that you will be greatly missed!!!

SEASON 25/26 is approaching and we CANT WAIT!!!

Reaching the end of the season is always bittersweet, but it definitely makes it better when you end with a double win;)

This Monday our mixed team had a double win against Regents and left no crumbs.

We are excited for what next season has to offer us!!!!
