***FUTURE SESSIONS UPDATE***

In line with SOAS' advice given in the all-student email earlier today ('all non-essential, non-teaching events at SOAS should be cancelled') we are putting on hold all of SOAS Squash's future sessions. This includes next week and the whole Easter break. As with the university itself, the decision on whether to resume sessions will be reviewed regularly, and we will update you when we decide to resume.

We hope that you understand the necessity of this measure. We love squash, and are pleased that the society grew so well in its first few months. But we judge this as a necessary step, and do not want to go against the university's advice. We look forward to a resumption of the society's activities in the future, and want to thank those of you who came and played with us this term and last.

Hi all! Apologies, but we have to cancel our session for beginners tonight as Nuffield Health have informed us that the squash courts have flooded! Please don't turn up, as we won't be there.

We hope to run all our events as usual next week, weather permitting.

We hope everybody had a good reading week. Unfortunately, the court access problems we were experiencing just before reading week have persisted, and we still don't know the new arrangement for getting courts booked. The renegotiation has been entirely in the hands of SOAS SU, so we've been unable to control the pace of it. However, we are going to see them in person tomorrow, and are optimistic that we will be able to get our sessions up and running soon!

Our 14.00-16.00 session today has been cancelled! Apologies. But don't lose heart 🙂 We're planning to run our sessions as normal next week, Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Keep an eye out for Facebook events for those sessions in due course.
