Most gyms aren’t built for you.
Not when you’re new. Not when you’re scared. Not when the last gym you tried made you feel out of place before you’d even put your trainers on.
Most gyms are built for the version of you who’s already confident, already strong, already loves training. The one who walks in knowing what they’re doing.
If that’s not you, you’re left to figure it out on your own.
We built Misfit the other way round.
Some of these faces had never trained before. Some had been to other gyms and never felt right in them. A few told us, on day one, that they didn’t really like gyms at all.
Then they kept coming.
And something quiet started to happen.
This is the part we love most about what we do.
Watching someone change. Not their body, though that often happens too. Their relationship with training.
The thing they used to dread, slowly, becomes the thing they look forward to. The thing they had to make themselves do, slowly, becomes the thing they want to do. The hour they used to put off, slowly, becomes the hour they keep clear.
That’s the transformation we care about.
Not before-and-afters. Not summer-ready. Not six weeks to a new you.
Just someone who used to feel out of place in a gym, learning that this one’s theirs.
Their identity shifts. They become someone who trains. Not because they should. Because they want to.
It’s a quieter kind of change, and it’s the best part of our job.
Nearly all of our members are still here a year later. 98.5%, to be exact.
That’s not a sales pitch. It’s the receipt for what we just described.
We are so proud of every face in this reel. And of every member the camera didn’t catch this time.
If you’ve spent years feeling like a stranger in every gym or put from training you’ve tried, you might find a home here.
Come and see.
Comment MISFIT and we’ll let you know how you can get started.
