We have just taken delivery of some more excellent ragworm, and topped up the squid, sandeel and blueys in the freezer!

We are open till 7pm this evening, and for the foreseeable future 9am - 7pm , 7 days a week!

If I could only fish with one for the rest of my life, I’d choose…

Bait.

Not because lures don’t work.

They absolutely do.

But if you put me on a mark I’ve never fished before and told me I could only take one thing, I’d be reaching for bait every time.

I was having a think the other day about my first fishing rod.

It wasn’t anything special, and by today’s standards it was probably pretty terrible. 😆

But I’d give anything to have it back now.

Funny how it’s not always the expensive gear we remember. It’s the rod that caught your first fish, the one you took on family holidays, or the one that spent most of its life rattling around in the back of the car.

So I’m curious…

What was the first fishing rod you ever owned?

Good afternoon fellow danglers.

We have just recieved some cracking dug ragworm.

Topped up the freezer, and we have the first of the Flashmer Subteel's now in the shop...( loads more to come).

Our flourocarbons are in , including the most excellent Seaguar Saiko Soft.

Open till 7pm this evening, 9am -7pm Saturday and Sunday...

If you don’t go fishing…You won’t catch fish. 😅

Simple really.

You can watch the weather forecast.

Read the reports.

Buy the latest tackle.

Tie the perfect rig.

But sooner or later you’ve got to get out there and have a go.

Some days you’ll catch. ✅

Some days you’ll blank. ❌

But every trip teaches you something.

How many times have you talked yourself out of a fishing trip because the conditions didn’t look perfect? 🤔
