A body check from Skeletor, a rainstorm, and a trip to Castle Greyskull... just a standard Thursday night with the Rovers! 🏰🔴🚫
​We gathered at the Liverpool Irish Centre still buzzing over Ando and Pat’s viral interview (complete with Pat’s on-and-off glasses 🕶️🤣). We set off through Anfield toward "Castle Greyskull," but things got spicy when a local tried to body-check us! Luckily, Vicky stepped in with a swift Irish lesson 🇮🇪, and Joe sent her packing. Legend!
​We made it to the summit, took a group photo by the Skeletor statue (some of us refused to step foot in the frame, obviously! 🛑), and sprinted home as the rain started pouring down.
​We made a beeline straight for the shed for the ultimate reward: piping hot Pat’s Brews and a secret stash of Moams! 🍬☕️

30 runners out this morning for our Bank Holiday Reverse Route at Croxteth Hall – brilliant turnout despite the weather! 💪🌧️

Great running, great company and a lovely chat at the end as always. This is what Mondays are all about!

CROXTETH HALL PARKRUN TAKEOVER – WHAT A MORNING! 💚🤍🧡

What a fantastic morning at Croxteth Hall parkrun for our Rovers Takeover!

A massive THANK YOU to all our pacers and volunteers – fab job as always, you did us proud! 💚

Special thanks to Pat Gregson for all the work in the background preparing vests, treats and rewards – much appreciated Pat, top work! 🙌

Well done to Danny ‘The Truth’ Williams for winning the pacing socks for hitting his time right on the nose! 👃🧦👏

We also did our non-running volunteer draw after Croxteth parkrun – there were 29 worthy volunteers in the hat!

And out came...
🍬 Carol Platt – a box of sweets for you!
🧦 Mark Stevens & Vicky – who opted for the Shamrock socks and the world-famous Daniel O'Donnell socks! 😂💚

A few milestones clocked up too recently Day Davies 100 parkruns, Ronan Mc 100 parkruns Sean Loughran 300 parkruns recently and Magi Margie Kelly 300 parkruns today wow.

A great morning all round and thanks to everyone who came down, ran, walked, cheered and volunteered.
