A season to remember. 🏆🏆

League champions and cup winners. The double secured.

What started out 5 years ago as a group of mates wanting to build something, winning a cup in our first season to nearly folding at the end of the last, we have turned this season into a season we’ll never forget. Every player, supporter, sponsor and person behind the scenes has played a part in what this club has achieved this year.

From the cold Sunday mornings, the Tesco Arena classics, the questionable refereeing decisions, the last-minute winners, the cup run, the celebrations and everything in between — this season had it all.

A massive thank you as well to Simon, Karen and everyone at The Horns Inn, who have welcomed and looked after us every week ever since the Blewitt days. Your hospitality and support for the lads has been unbelievable and the club genuinely wouldn’t be what it is today without you all behind us. 💚💛

To everyone who’s supported us throughout the year, whether that’s coming to games, sharing posts, sponsoring the club, helping with events or simply backing the lads every week, thank you. It genuinely means everything to us.

This club keeps growing every season and that’s because of the people around it. We’ve created memories this year that will stick with us for a long time.

Final game of the season and the lads signed off in the right way with a 3-1 win. ✅

With the league already wrapped up and the double secured, this was a chance to rotate the squad, give everyone minutes and enjoy one last run out together this season. Changes all over the pitch but the standards stayed the same, with the boys putting in another solid performance to end the campaign on a high.

League champions. Cup winners. Signed off with a win.

Thursday saw us fall to defeat for only the second time this season. With the season already wrapped up and not much left to play for, the intensity maybe just wasn’t quite at the levels we’ve set ourselves throughout the year.

That being said, the lads still battled right until the final whistle in a game that probably summed up Sunday League football perfectly — questionable decisions, half chances, tired legs and plenty of moaning.

Credit to the Traf too who put up a good game.

One more game left to finish the season strong. Up the H***y Boys 🍻

BE MORE LIKE THOMAS ❤️

On Sunday 24th May we come together to celebrate the life of Tom Johnson — a teammate, friend, son, brother and someone who meant so much to so many people.

Players from Tom’s friends, family and former teammates at Cresswell Wanderers and Samson Blewitt FC will take to the pitch for a special memorial game in his honour at The Scholars Ground, Chasetown.

This is more than just a football match. It’s a chance for everyone who knew Tommy, played alongside him, or simply wants to show support, to come together and celebrate his life the way he would’ve wanted — surrounded by football, friends and laughter.

Every donation made on the day will go towards the Tom Johnson Legacy Fund, helping keep his memory alive and supporting causes close to his family and friends.

🏆 LEAGUE CHAMPIONS 🏆

Yesterday’s result confirms it…
Horns Inn FC are league winners.

With 2 games still to play, the title is secured — a reward for the consistency, quality, and hard work shown all season.

The job isn’t finished yet… but this moment is ours.

3 points needed. Sun shining. Tesco Arena looking like a Wembley surface. It was set up perfectly… now it just had to be delivered.

With the chance to seal the league and complete the double, there was no need for motivation—the lads knew exactly what was on the line.

We came out the blocks sharp, moving the ball well. It didn’t take long for that pressure to tell. A quick throw from Joe caught them sleeping, and Chris, with what was 100% a cross, looped one over the keeper that dropped perfectly into the far corner. 1-0.

That early goal settled any nerves, and from there we started to take control. It wasn’t long before the second arrived, Mander doing superbly before slipping it into Chris, who calmly slotted into the bottom corner. 2-0 inside 15 minutes, and we were flying.

Despite creating plenty more opportunities, we went into the break just the two goals up—but fully in control.

The message at half-time: more of the same.

Straight from the restart, we were back on the front foot. Winning the ball high up the pitch, Baz showed great awareness to square it across to Mander, who made no mistake, 3-0.

The pressure didn’t stop there. Mander was involved again soon after, forcing a save from the keeper, but Sanders reacted quickest—tapping home the rebound to extend the lead to four.

A number of subs and 3 goals in 3 minutes followed. First, Cleft was on hand to react to a spilled corner from Dyl. Moments later, Dyl got the goal, finishing after an attempt from Joey. And before they could even regroup, some slick, confident football saw Cleft flick it through for Dyl again, who smashed it in. 7-0, and the game was done.

But the lads weren’t finished.

Another quick throw caught them out once more, and with the bench shouting for him to hit it, Mase stepped up from 25 yards and delivered. 8-0

JT rounded off the scoring, receiving the ball from Cleft and guided it into the bottom corner to round things off.

9-0. Dominant. Relentless. Champions.

Three points secured, statement performance, League title won.
And with it… the double. 🏆🏆

This weekend, the stage is set at the Tesco Arena as we welcome Farmers Boys for what promises to be a huge clash.

Three points would crown us League Champions with two games still to play — but there’ll be nothing easy about it. Farmers Boys will arrive fired up and looking for revenge after the recent Divisional Cup Final, determined to spoil the party and make us earn every inch.

The lads know what’s on the line. A full season of hard work, graft, and quality football has brought us to this moment — one final push to get over the line and secure the double.

We need you with us. Bring the noise, back the boys, and be part of what could be a special day at the Tesco Arena. 🏆

Unfortunately due to the opposition unable to get a team together after their cup game on Thursday they had to forefit the game on Sunday, giving us the 3 points.

What it does mean is that a win this weekend will see us become League champions, with 2 left to play. 🏆
