Just to let you know that Robert from Inverclyde Archers has advised that their outdoor shooting session scheduled for tonight Wednesday 03/06/26 has been cancelled due to the weather forecast.

The Morecambe Bay Masters (the postal competition for archers aged 65 and over) returns for another year.

Running for the three summer months this postal competition is
completely free to enter and open to all bow styles. Last summer they had over one hundred and seventy archers competing in ten categories.

Anyone who is interested in taking part please contact [email protected] to request an entry form.

Folks,
Just to let you know that now the outdoor season has started, Thursday April 30th will be the last Thursday indoor shoot at Largs until after the summer vacation period.

We will still be shooting as usual on Tuesdays and I hope to see you at those sessions.

Just a short note to remind you that there is no Largs Archery on Tuesday April 14th or Thursday April 16th as we don't have access to the hall.

Congratulations to the Largs archers who took part in the Irvine Tox / Kilmarnock leg of the Ayrshire League.

Largs managed some great results again:

Largs won the team bronze (James Wilbraham, Andy Owen, Peter Boyd, Bernard Healy)
Cairn Boyd won the Junior Compound Gold
Margaret Healy won the Longbow Gold
Frank Schallmosser won the Longbow Bronze

Well done to all who took part to help Largs.

Congratulations to the Largs archers who took part in the Inverclyde leg of the Ayrshire League. Largs managed some great results again:

Largs won the team gold (Lucy Coutts, Andy Owen, Peter Boyd, James Wilbraham)
Bernard Healy won the Barebow Silver
Kevin Boyle won the Novice Recurve Bronze
Frank Schallmosser won the Longbow Gold

Well done to all who took part and organised the day and especially to those who shot to help Largs.

Congratulations to all who took part and helped organise the Largs Archery Weekend. It was a very successful weekend and a great time was had by all.

Archery fans were in for a treat with Scottish Archery hosting an action-packed weekend in Largs.

I am pleased to announce that we now have some confirmed dates for our next Archery beginner class. The sessions will start on Thursday January 29th at the Inverclyde Sports Centre in Largs from 7-9pm.

The class will run for 6 weeks with a possible catch up week, hall booking permitted..
