What a morning! ⚽️
A massive well done to every single one of our boys today. As coaches, we honestly couldn’t be any prouder. The effort, attitude and teamwork they showed from the first whistle to the last was incredible.
With a few teams pulling out, we were asked if we’d be willing to play some extra games, and the boys embraced the challenge without a single complaint and with no subs 😂 You could definitely see the wee legs getting heavy towards the end, but they kept battling, encouraging each other and playing with smiles on their faces. That’s what grassroots football is all about.
A huge thank you to everyone at Barony for another brilliantly organised tournament. This was our second time attending, and once again everything was run superbly. We’ll definitely be back for a third! 👏⚽
To top it all off, the boys came away with the Fair Play Award. Out of everything today, that probably makes us the proudest. It shows the respect, sportsmanship and values these kids have, and that’s something we’ll always put before results.
Well done, boys. Keep working hard, keep enjoying your football and keep making us proud. 🧡🖤
