Also had to add sound effects to make it funnier. (my Mrs says I have too much time on my hands)

Fantastic training session all the same and the kids really brought what we'd worked on into their game at the end. πŸ§‘πŸ–€βš½πŸ₯…

Kian Watson thank you for the support you have gave us over the past few years from getting the initial text from your mum asking if you could help out to where you are now.

Previously shy, nervous and distant to becoming a coach whos built a great rapport with the kids. Watching you develop aswell as developing the kids has been a pleasure.

Another difficult week for us to pick. This week the full team could have received it. They played for each other, attitudes, effort and football was fantastic throughout the morning.

This week though it goes to lucas who has played well for the last few weeks and has been up there and just missed out previously.

He controlled the first half of the game in the middle of the park before swapping at half time and then bagging himself a few goals.

Some great individual performances today along with some well worked team play.

Difficult one to pick this week again 3 or 4 kids could have picked it up.
This week's potm was our wee energizer bunny koby. He picked up some fancy footwork from somewhere (maybe his dad) making some fantastic runs down the right wing and putting some great balls into the danger area which we struggled to convert.
He had slowed down for parts of the game but then when the sun came out it must have hit his solar panel because he was like a whippet getting from right wing to left back in the blink of an eye and put in a great challenge when our defenders had been caught out on a counter attack.

Some overall decent team play when we played our kinda football. If only we can get out of this boot the ball up the park and hope for the best mentality when we go behind. 🀣

Sorry its late (again) I was away on holiday last weekend so couldn't attend the game.

After speaking to other coaches though they decided that last weekends player of the match was hannah. I can't comment on performance personally however Ive been informed that it was "well deserved" and
"you couldn't not give her it" performance, effort and attitude were on point at the weekend which is what we like to see.

Well done to last weeks and this week's potm.

Last week Jack done everything correctly at the back but was unfortunately sometimes over ran with 3v1s at points. He didn't give up and tried his very best to the very end. Despite the scoreline it could have been a lot higher if it wasn't for the wee man. Solid as always Jack well done. 🧑

This week it goes to Ben who again played very well at the back, extremely composed all game, never looked under pressure and always made the correct play, a real team player today, knowing when to push up and when to sit back. It's great to see you coming back out of your shell kid well done. πŸ–€

This week was a very very difficult pick it could very well have went to the full team again. I thought every kid had a great game with some great defending, some fantastic teamwork in the middle of the park and some worldies to finish it off.

It was a really close competitive game against Cumnock Juniors FC thank you for travelling down and all the bets for the rest of the season. ⚽🀝

A good team performance today as we hosted Dean thistle football club in our ayfl league fixture. A really close competitive game with some fantastic goals, saves and all round performances by everyone. Well done to all the kids who turned up today on both teams. Very difficult to pick a potm as it was a well rounded team performance.

Shortlees youth are looking to recruit a few new payers to join our 2016s team for the season ahead.

We have a cracking group of kids already and feel like the addition of a couple of new players could really help strengthen our squad.

We offer 2 training sessions per week and a game at the weekends, multiple festivals entered throughout the year, christmas, easter, end of season etc all celebrated with the kids enjoyment at the heart of it all.
