So yesterday we had our 1st competition of the year with the 2 bowl pairs being played in what ended up a decent day with the weather holding up.

A decent turnout from the members and alot of great bowls played. Thanks to the ladies in kitchen for the lovely food.

The winners were John McLean & Craig Cochrane who edged a close final Vs Stevie Sinclair & Willie (Mr Inverkip)Gibson with it goin right down to the last end.

Great effort from the gents last night in the G/D Top 5 Singles Vs a strong team from Wellington Park Bowling Club. Thanks to Rankin Park BC for hosting the game and to all markers,umpires & everyone involved.
Congratulations Wellington Park Bowling Club and best of luck for the semi-final next week.

What a Great day on Sunday despite the weather.

Our 1st friendly with Halkshill Bowling Club is officially in the books. A great day with great company a few refreshments and some bowls were threw aswell. A huge thank you to our VP J.Miller for donating the trophy & Congratulations to VP I.Tait and all members of Halkshill BC on winning the cup for the 1st year.

Looking forward to the return game next season.
