What a couple of weeks at Inverkip Bowling Club we've had from our own club finals day to ladies G/D Finals. Then we had Champ of Champions competition followed by some live music and curry night.

A huge effort from everyone involved to make sure everything went smoothly and even the weather did it's part

Green looking great and it should be a couple of close games, the weather looks like it's playing it's part, more importantly the bar will be open from around 1pm.

Everyone welcome so come along and show the gents some support

So on Saturday we had another great day of bowls with the Non- Prize Winner's Trophy on the line.
It was great to see so many of our newer members playing in this and there was a lot of very close games.
It all came down to a superb final between our VP Jacqueline Seggie & Phil Price. It was pretty much, shot for shot the whole game with Phil just getting over the line in the end.

Congratulations Phil on winning his 1st Singles trophy I'm sure it won't be his last!

Today we had one of the bigger competitions that we have on the calendar with our Nominated Pairs being played and it was won by Derek Strachan & Craig Cochrane.

It was well attended with a few of the newer members taking part which is great to see. Alot of close games which brought the sections going down to the last games, some the last end.

It moved on to the semi-finals which seen the 2 teams of Jamie Strachan/Nat Schoular & Steven and Matthew Kyle just coming up short.

Then it was the final with Derek and Craig just having a bit more in the tank to finish off a great day, (a long day but a great day,) and got over the line against Craig Traynor and President Joe Miller.

Well done Everyone 👏👏👏👏

Congratulations to John Ellis on winning this year's Past President's trophy. John edged out Craig Cochrane in what was a very good final to finish a good day of bowling.

Thanks to Pam Gibson & Mary Miller for all the lovely food that was served. And of course we wouldn't have this competition if it wasn't for our very own
Mr Inverkip Bowling Club(Willie Gibson) who put up this trophy and has been played every year except the year of COVID and was now this year was being played in it's 40th year.

Well done to everyone involved in this year's 4 Bowl Pairs competition. It was a superb day with alot of really close games. But it came down to what was a great final with
Rory Cameron & Craig Cochrane winning the final against Mary Miller & Caroline Cochrane.

For Rory & Caroline they were going head to head in what was their 1st final so it was always going to be 1 new name on the trophy which is always great to see.

Congratulations again to both Rory & Craig well done gents 👏👏🏆

Well done to everyone that took part in the Pub Night. It was a great night had by all. Weather was decent Refreshments were flowing and a few good bowls played aswell😂.
