This Sunday 6th Sept 10am until around 11.15am at Brimlands is the start of the new Sharks Season. Open to all ages 4 to 16 boys and girls, if you have a bored child, child who wont sit still, one who wants to get fit, make friends, not sure where they fit it, looking for some confidence, maybe a sporting champ looking to home there skills. Rugby is the most inclusive sport has a place for all shapes, sizes and skill levels at rugby. Learn confidence, skills, fitness, team work, respect, discipline and lots of friends and fun. Come join our rugby family Ilfracombe Rugby Club we will be focusing on registration these first couple weeks but all welcome. If any parents, relatives fancy helping out please let one of our volunteers know. Any questions, message our page on messenger. Our club merch and sharks kits are available to order from our Akuma club shop password is IRFC. https://akumashops.com/shop have a new U16 coach for older players so we expecially encourage them along for the new season.

🏆 WHAT A DAY! ILFRACOMBE CARNIVAL 2026! 🏆🎉
A massive thank you to every single volunteer who gave up their time to help make the Ilfracombe Rugby Club carnival float such a success! 💙💛
The smiles on the kids’ faces said it all — they had an absolute ball! Seeing everyone come together to create such a fantastic environment for the children was brilliant. 🙌
And to top it all off… 🥁🥁🥁
🏆 WE WON 1ST PLACE FOR BEST FLOAT! 🏆
What an amazing achievement and something we can all be incredibly proud of! 👏👏
A special thank you to Rob Holmes at Access Scaffolding for helping us put the safety barriers onto the float and making sure everything was safe and ready to go. We really appreciate your help! 👍
And of course, another huge thank you to ALL the volunteers who mucked in — whether you were decorating the car, helping with the float, sorting the car park, organising things behind the scenes, or simply lending a hand wherever it was needed.
It truly takes a community to make days like this happen, and Ilfracombe Rugby Club once again showed what an amazing community we have. ❤️💙

Club is entering the carnival which starts this evening Sunday 30th at 6pm from Swimming pool car park. Anyone want to join in and be part of the carnival please feel free, club kit, sharks kit or any shark related fancy dress welcome. Team will be at club this afternoon preparing the float and face painting. Be good to see as many players, sharks, rugby family as possible anyone welcome to join in this great event. Save the date! We know it's still summer, but we cant wait for our fireworks extravaganza on Fri 30th Oct! Once again, we're combining it with a Halloween party, so we wanna see your little ones (and big ones too!) in their spookiest costumes!
