Back to Whilton Mill this weekend for the final round of The Kart Championship.

🎢 A Rollercoaster Weekend | RMC UKC RD5 – Three Sisters

Changeable weather and a track I haven’t raced at much made for some tricky racing, but the pace was there from the start.

Qualifying | Pole 🥇
Heat 1 | P3
Heat 2 | DNF – a rear hub failure meant the wheel came off, bringing the race to an early end.

That left me P11 heading into Finals Day.

In the Superheat I fought my way up to P3 + fastest lap, but unfortunately a post-race penalty dropped me back down the order.

Starting P11 for the Final, we found a puncture on the dummy grid, meaning I had to race with a flat tyre. Despite that, I managed to battle my way through to P4 at the flag 👊🏻

A solid weekend of points gathering for the Championship. With just one round remaining, I’m currently P2 in the Championship, only 4 points off the lead.

All to play for 🏁

🇬🇧 A Weekend of Chasing the Pace | BKC RD4 – Whilton Mill

BKC RD4 complete, but unfortunately not the results we were looking for.

All weekend we were chasing that little bit of extra pace needed to break into the top 10. We tried different setups, a different chassis, and kept working at it, but nothing quite seemed to click at a track I know well and am usually quick at.

We kept pushing right to the end, with the Final leaving me P10 overall.

A shame not to get the result we know we’re capable of, but that’s motorsport. Some weekends everything comes together, others you have to take the lessons and move on.
