Pitchside advertising at Bridge Road means your brand is on display every time a match is played at our ground, including Cambridgeshire FA fixtures hosted here as well as our own men, women and under-18 games.

With over 8,200 fans through the gates last season, consistent exposure through our match day photo galleries and website, and the possibility of coverage in the Cambridge News and Cambridge Independent, it is one of the most well-rounded packages we offer.

One year starts at £350 plus VAT. Two years at £600 saves you £100 and locks in your visibility for the long run. Boards are 3 metres by 75 centimetres and include up to four match tickets. Call Paul to discuss availability.

The new season is almost here, and there is plenty to look forward to at Histon FC.

Fixtures are on their way. Roger Walker is working through the Step 3 and Step 4 schedules, with ground share clubs typically receiving their dates in the second week of July. The plan is to get the first couple of weeks out to you as soon as the FA Cup and FA Vase draws are confirmed at the start of July, so you will not be waiting long to find out who we are up against.

Before that, the Preliminary Round of the League Cup will be drawn at the AGM on 21 June, so that is the first date to keep in your diary.

The season itself kicks off across the weekend of 24 to 26 July, with the campaign running through to April to allow the play-offs to be completed by 1 May. The League Knockout Cup final is scheduled for 3 May, rounding off what promises to be a brilliant year of football.

More news to follow as we get closer to the start. Stay tuned and keep the faith.

Up the Stutes.

Could your business be the name behind our next home fixture?

Match sponsorship at Histon FC puts you right at the heart of the occasion. From the team announcement to the final whistle, your company name is heard across the ground, featured in the programme and shared across our digital channels.

You and three guests will enjoy boardroom hospitality, meet the players and management after the game, and have the chance to present the man of the match award on the pitch.

It is a memorable afternoon and a genuine chance to connect with the local community that supports this football club. Get in touch with Paul to find out which dates are still available for 2026/27.

Something is building at Bridge Road.

The 2025/26 season is done and dusted, and what a campaign it was. But the pages have already been turned, and the work behind the scenes has quietly, purposefully, been going on for weeks.

Joint-managers Matt Payne and Mark Critoph have been busy. Very busy. Players have been spoken to. Conversations have been had. Decisions have been made. And now, one by one, the squad that will wear the Histon shirt in 2026/27 is beginning to take shape.

Some familiar faces have been confirmed. Players who gave everything for the Stutes last season and who are hungry to go again. Others are new names, new stories, new reasons to be excited about life at The Bridge.

Who are they? Well, that is exactly the question. And the answers are coming. Each announcement, each face, each name is going to be shared with you right here over the coming days and weeks. You will be the first to know.

A new chapter is being written at Histon Football Club. The UCL Premier Division South awaits, the pre-season schedule is locked in, and the squad that will take on that challenge is almost ready.
Stay close. The Stutes are coming.

Come on, you Stutes. 🔴⚫️

We are looking for someone with a clear football philosophy, a hunger to develop players at this level, and the character to represent the club in the right way. Whether you are an experienced manager looking for a new challenge or someone ready to take that next step, we want to hear from you. To find out more or to register your interest, please contact Matt Payne [email protected]

We look forward to speaking with you.

This is more than a role. It is a chance to leave a lasting mark on young players and the wider community. We want someone who leads with purpose, communicates well, and understands what grassroots football means to the people involved. If you have the experience and the drive, we would love to start a conversation.

Please reach out to Matt Payne at [email protected]. All enquiries are welcome.

𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗖 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲 £𝟮𝟱,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝟰𝟬 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗢𝗹𝗱 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀

Football clubs at all levels are expensive to run and Histon FC is no exception. Like any other business, the club needs constant investment in order to move forward and the Board is doing everything it can to ensure we reach our full potential. We have come a long way since the dark days of ten to fifteen years ago and last season our Men’s, Ladies’ and Under 18s sides all showed what can be achieved when the club and it’s supporters all work together.

Off the pitch, the club has coped well with ever-increasing general running costs and last year we even managed to return a modest profit. But every now and then something comes along which puts an extra strain on the club’s purse strings.

Our existing floodlights are nearly forty years old and the pylons are showing signs of their age. A recent ground survey recommended that they be replaced before they deteriorate further.

We therefore need to replace them with an upgraded system and one that will meet the standards required at a higher level of football.

To this end, the club is securing a grant from the Premier League Football Stadium Fund covering 70% of the cost, and while this is very good news for the club, we still need to find the remaining 30% of around £25,000. We are therefore asking for help from not only our loyal supporters and existing business partners but also the wider business and football community to help us reach the £25,000 target.

Whatever you can contribute towards our target will help us take a step closer to installing new energy-efficient floodlights and start saving on our energy costs. These savings will then be invested in our activities on the pitch. As a ‘thank you’ for your help, anyone contributing £250 will receive a signed first team shirt, and for £1,000 or more, your name or business will be entered onto a roll of honour in the clubhouse. Please contact the club directly with details of your donation.

We have opened a GoFundMe Page at https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-us-light-the-future-of-histon-football-club

We will be providing regular updates on the progress made towards reaching our target, and any amount you can contribute as an individual would be greatly appreciated. No amount is too small.

Thank you in advance for your assistance, and if you would like further information, please contact [email protected]

Histon FC are on the lookout for U13 players to join the EJA programme this summer. If you know a young footballer who is ready to play, develop and enjoy the game in a positive team environment, this is a brilliant opportunity to be part of something special at The Bridge Road Stadium.

The open session takes place on Sunday 8th June, 7pm to 8.15pm, at Northstowe Secondary College, Stirling Road, Cambridge, CB24 1DJ.

No need to be the finished article — just bring the right attitude and a love of the game.

Share this with any family or friends whose son or daughter might be interested. Places will be limited, so spread the word.

It is more than a name change. It is a statement of intent — a reflection of the ambition, the growth, and the direction this club is heading. On and off the pitch, things are moving forward, and the women's section is very much part of that story.

There is a new season ahead, full of challenges worth getting excited about, and this group of players and staff are ready for every one of them.

We are proud of the journey so far. We are even more excited about what comes next.

If you are not already following Histon FC Women — now is the time to join them for the next chapter.
