SharpShooters FC is an Arbury-based grassroots football club working with children from our local community. We currently have 7 teams registered with the league and are growing fast! ⚽

We’re looking for local businesses who might be interested in sponsoring a team bench. So far, we’ve managed to fund 3 benches through donations from parents and families, but we’d love to get 2 more so that each of our teams has their own. Each bench costs £169.99.

Last night we had the pleasure of attending the BBC Cambridgeshire Make a difference awards. So many wonderful people were nominated for awards for making a difference in the community. From fundraising, volunteering, sustainability, bringing communities together and so much more.

During the half term Toby played against Italian giants, Juventus! Whilst playing for Ipswich Town Football Club , Toby was an integral part of his side’s 10-1 victory, scoring twice! ⚽⚽

Our awards day always consists of a bring and share lunch, typically with food from the country you come from. We get to experience food from all over the world. This years included Afghanistan, Jamaica, Poland, Ghana, France and Korea, just to name a few! I love that our club is so diverse and we all get to share these wonderful cultures together. Thank you to all of the parents and carers who made this happen! Looking forward to doing it all again next year! This video does not do it justice!

A long day of football for 4 of our teams today at the Histon Hornets Tournament.
Despite the rain, our 9’s, 10’s and 11’s made it out of the group stages but it wasn’t to be and we got knocked out in the quarter finals. It was a rough day at the office for our under 12s and we didn’t quite make it out of the group. Overall we played some great football and had lots of fun. Well done to everyone who played! Thank you Histon hornets fc for another great tournament!
