Yesterday we travelled up to London on the Gator ABC show where our Teddy PEARCE had his 6th competitive bout against the Home boy.
Going into the First round Tedders had a great start controlling the pace picking off shots and moving off nicely.
Round 2 the Gator boy came out flying breaking Teds rhythm with fast flurry’s, towards the end we could see the fast paced bout was hitting the lungs of our opponent.
Moving into the 3rd and final round we knew we couldn’t afford to leave it close and it was going to be the test of heart and fitness, from that bell teds applied tons of pressure mixing in lots of shots and it stayed like this until the Final bell

Another weekend of boxing for Robinsons a little recap today.

First out we had Oakley Stevens on his 3rd skills and he boxed very well. Listened to instructions from the corner and we couldn’t be prouder, as all skills it’s to prepare them for the competitive bouts and Oakley was told to hold back today by the ref which for us means he’s massively going in the right direction to soon make that competitive debut.

Last we had Finlay Miller making his competitive debut and what a bout! From the starting bell Fin was like a mad man on a mission stuck to his opponent like glue and got the job done stopping his opponent at the start of the 2nd round. For a little 45kg lad the boy hit likes a truck.

Both lads are back in the gym Monday. This is only the start for them both, we are excited to see there journey and thankful to play our part in them

Where has the respect gone in the world today? Our club has put thousands of pounds into getting new equipment for the boxers and helping young people get off the street for it to be treated like a Playground. We are going to give the benefit of the doubt to the lads in this video and not name them however next time we won’t be so nice, 5 years I’ve put into the gym to help the local community we’ve come from starting in a back garden to now being a affiliated amateur Boxing Club we will not have this ruined. I now have 24 hour access over the cameras and will be checking it regularly. I think all need to keep in mind as a Boxing Club we don’t earn we create opportunities. You wouldn’t like it if I come to your house and mistreated your belongings. No excuses for this just bang out of order
