✨ BRC Showjumping Championships 2026✨

A few weeks ago, our team headed off to the BRC Showjumping Championships and although the results might not look amazing on paper, we couldn’t be prouder of what we achieved! 💙🐴

For three of us, this meant stepping up a whole level from last year, and for another it was their horse’s very first championship – and even their first time jumping outdoors! That alone is such a huge achievement and something to celebrate 👏

We had some beautiful rounds, made some brilliant memories, and spent the weekend surrounded by a fantastic group full of laughs, support, and team spirit. Most importantly, we got to enjoy quality time with our horses, doing what we love most and making the most of such a special experience together ✨

Sometimes it’s not about the rosettes, but about pushing yourselves, celebrating progress, enjoying your horses, and making memories that last far longer than the results sheet.

We’re now looking ahead to the Dressage Championships this weekend where we have two teams attending – wishing them the very best of luck! 💫

✨First competition of the year off to a great start! ✨

Nikki, Angela and Sam headed to the BRC Area 1 Arena Eventing Qualifier at Totleywells on Sunday 🐎 With only a team of three, every score counted – and they delivered, finishing 2nd in the 70cm team 🥈👏

Angela and Sam both jumped lovely double clears, just picking up a few time penalties for being a bit too quick ⏱️ Angela also went on to do the 80cm individually, giving her horse a really nice, educational round 🌟

A solid prep run ahead of this weekend, where Nikki and Angela will be heading to Arena UK with Eilidh and Lauren for the BRC Winter Showjumping Championships 🏆 Good luck to everyone competing! 🍀

We couldn’t be prouder of everyone who represented SPRA — you were all superb! 💙

With a new season ahead, we’re looking forward to a year packed with fun, training, competitions and exciting adventures with our favourite 4 legged friends.

“Solly was my first horse when I was 15 and took me from being a riding school kid to competing round 1m20s. She taught me everything I know and was the most genuine, honest and kindest mare. At 18 she’s ended up with a serious tendon injury that resulted in her retiring from showjumping.

After a long year on box rest and a slow rehab, Solly came back into light work and we had a few years doing low level dressage, which we weren’t very good at but Solly loved the day out 🤣 we even managed a x-pole jump-cross class which she absolutely loved and won the class! 🎉

After 11 years together, I sadly lost Solly in October 2020 after a sudden tendon injury literally overnight which was irreparable and I lost my best friend that day! It is one of the hardest things I’ve ever went through 💙

A few months later I got Lola, who is very different to Solly but I always hope she’s up there looking down and proud of everything we’ve achieved! I know she’s with us over every jump, trotting down every centre line and out every hack! 💙”
