What a weekend for Afan Forest Riders at the Hope Wmn Enduro — and what a brilliant crew of women representing the club.
Sheree Breckon and Ange Friar took on their first ever race, after months of an emotional rollercoaster, through nerves, doubt, practice and determination. They’ve put the work in, pushed themselves, and showed exactly what you can achieve when you put your mind to it, both coming away with awesome results, and a day they can look back on with a huge sense of accomplishment
Jaime-May Branch and Louise Phillips both entered last year, they enjoyed it so much they came back for more, and with huge improvements on their previous results, Louise has taken her riding from strength to strength, its great to see, and Jaime making it the podium.
But the best part? This weekend wasn’t really just about racing. It was about friendship, and believing in yourself, in a supportive environment that encourages women to step up, and take centre stage,
