SUPERONE Rounds 11/12 P2-P1

Saturday was a difficult day with tricky conditions but fair play to all the drivers for keeping it on the road and having some good clean racing!

Heat 1 - P4
Heat 2 - P2
Final - P2

Sunday was certainly different. A few avoidable incidents on circuit left wanting to go home after heat 2 and no help from officials to help rectify the situation certainly was a difficult day. Despite all of this I still went out there in the final to show to people that I will not give up and will keep fighting til the end! Finished the final in p1 after a good battle with my teammate Phoebe Shelton and the 2 ambition karts of Reggie and Nico!

British Karting Championship – PFI 🏆

Saturday

Qualifying didn’t go our way and left me starting P18 and P16 for the heats.

Heat 1: P18 ➜ P6
I got my head down and worked my way through the field, making up 12 places to finish P6.

Heat 2: P16 ➜ P10
Another race starting towards the back, but I managed to gain another six places and finish P10.

Final: P7 ➜ P3 🥉🏆
Starting seventh for the final, I knew we had the pace. I fought my way forward and crossed the line P3 my first ever British Championship podium!

Sunday

We were back at it on Sunday, qualifying P8 and P15 for the heats.

Heat 1: P8 ➜ P10
A tough race where things didn’t quite go our way, finishing P10.

Heat 2: P15 ➜ P8
Back on the charge, gaining seven places to finish P8.

Final: P6 ➜ P5
I started the final P6 and had another strong race, moving forward to finish P5 and end the weekend with another top-five result.

Saturday — P3 🥉
Sunday — P5 💪

A great weekend at only my 3rd Wera Tools British Kart Championships event!

TKC Round 4 – Rowrah 🏁

Another encouraging weekend for me at the challenging Rowrah circuit, with plenty of pace on display and a brilliant fight through the field in the final.

After qualifying P9, I got my weekend underway with a solid drive to P7 in Heat 1 before a tough Heat 2 saw me finish P11. The Super Heats were mixed, dropping back to P12 in the first before bouncing back with an excellent P7 in Super Heat 2.

The highlight of the weekend came in Super Heat 2, where I set the fastest lap of the entire weekend with a stunning 53.68 seconds, underlining the outright pace the kart had throughout the meeting.

Starting the Final from P8, I produced one of my strongest drives of the season, carving through the field to finish P4, showing excellent race craft and speed when it mattered most.

⬇️ Heat 2: P9 ➜ P11
⬇️ Super Heat 1: P8 ➜ P12

🏆 HEATWAVE CUP WINNER 🏆

What a weekendat Shenington! My first-ever clean sweep in Honda Cadet:

🥇 Heat 1: P4 ➡️ P1
🥇 Heat 2: P6 ➡️ P1
🥇 Final: P1 ➡️ P1

Two great drives through the field followed by a lights-to-flag victory in the final to take the Heatwave Cup trophy home. A proud day and another big milestone in my karting journey!

🏁 Race Report: British Kart Championship Rounds 1 & 2, Whilton Mill 🏁

What a weekend at Whilton Mill for the British Kart Championship… fast, competitive, and just a little bit chaotic 😅

🔵 Round 1
A strong start to the weekend:
Qualifying: P5 👊
Heat 1: P6
Heat 2: P11 (midfield mayhem!)
Final: P11

At the end of the day, it turned out the chassis had been bent during an incident in morning practice, causing loss of traction on the rear right tyre. Given that, these were seriously solid results 💪

🔴 Round 2
This is where things got… interesting.

Qualifying: P3 🚀
…then a DSQ after a missing rubber seal was found on the engine (tiny part, no performance gain, big consequences 🤦‍♂️). The seal must have fell off during scrutineering after Ben set pole at PFI a couple of weeks previously.

Heat 1: P20 – fighting back from the rear
Heat 2: Storming drive, up 13 places… only for another piece of contact to pull the chain guard bolt through on the last lap. Stayed out (final lap), which meant DSQ. Because of course it did 🙃

Final: Mega drive from the back – up 14 places to P12 on track 🔥
…but on the in-lap, the kart ahead braked heavily into the pits, causing a dropped nose cone penalty = -5 places. Because why not at this point 😅

✔️ Top pace (P5 & P3 in quali)
✔️ Huge overtakes through the field
✔️ Never gave up despite everything

On to CKC at Whilton Mill this weekend…

This weekend I’m heading to Whilton Mill for Round 1 of the WERA British Kart Championships!

It’s my first time competing at this level, and I’m buzzing to get out on track and see what we can do.

Even better, our race highlights will be featured on Sky Sports F1!

🏁 Race Report – Round 2 The Kart Championship: PFI

A strong weekend for Ben, showing great pace throughout! Large quick grid of 44 karts.

⚡ Qualifying: Pole Position - Lap Record 🏎️ (Before it was broke again by Well done mate!)
🔥 Heats: P3, P6
💪 Super Heats: P4, P2

Starting the final from P5, Ben was right in the fight at the front, but unfortunately got caught up in a multi-kart incident late in the race, dropping him back to P18.

Plenty of positives to take – the speed was there all weekend! On to the next one 👊
