๐ข PROJECT 125 UPDATE ๐ข
We know itโs been a while since our last update, and weโve had lots of people asking how things are progressing with the proposed training facility and clubhouse.
The good news is that after almost two years of waiting, the land transfer process between Highways and the Council has finally been completed! ๐
This has been one of the biggest hurdles facing the project and, whilst itโs taken much longer than we originally anticipated, it now allows us to move forward with the next stages of development.
During this time, weโve continued to progress the design and planning work behind the scenes, working with our team to ensure the project is ready to move into the next phase.
Our next steps are:

Complete the legal work associated with the land acquisition.

Finalise the development proposals with our architects.

Appoint the specialist consultants required to support the planning application.
โ
Submit our full planning application.
Weโre currently working towards a September planning submission, which will be a major milestone for the project.
Whilst progress hasnโt always been visible from the outside, a huge amount of work has been happening behind the scenes to get us to this point. Weโd like to thank everyone for their patience, support and continued encouragement throughout the process.
This project has always been about creating first-class facilities for our members and the wider community, and weโre excited to finally be taking some significant steps forward.
