Family Touch Rugby Starts Tonight at Faringdon Rugby Club

Faringdon Rugby Club is proud to launch our new Family Touch Rugby sessions starting tonight at Folly Sports Park.

These fun, friendly and inclusive sessions are open to everyone β€” parents, children, teenagers, friends and complete beginners. The aim is simple: get active, enjoy rugby and bring the local community together in a relaxed environment.

Family Touch Rugby is non-contact, easy to learn and designed for all ages and abilities. Whether you’ve played rugby before or never picked up a rugby ball, everyone is welcome to join in.

The sessions are a great way to improve fitness, meet new people, build confidence and enjoy time together as a family outdoors.

We’re looking to recruit a Physio for the upcoming season.

πŸ’· Paid position
πŸ“ Home & away fixtures
πŸ“… Saturdays only

We’re open to:
βœ… Qualified Physiotherapists / Sports Therapists
βœ… Students currently studying Physiotherapy or Sports Therapy who want to build experience, hours, and practical skills in a rugby environment

Desirable quals:

- PHICIS level 2 or similar pitchside qualification
- ⁠minimum First Aid in Rugby Union or similar level 3 course
- ⁠taping proficiency
- ⁠Headcase completion/knowledge around concussions and RTP

A great opportunity to gain hands-on matchday experience while working with an existing physio team.
