Football back in the village 😍⚽️🔵

Thanks so much to everyone that came down last night to support the lads and more importantly, football being played back in Embsay in over 12 years ⚽️

3 points at Shires Lane 💪⚽️🔵

In Embsay’s first game back the village since the reform, the lads run riot in the first 45 mins with some amazing football played. A nice free kick from Charlie Dawson, Jacob Ratcliffe with a poachers goal and Lewis Varey with his first hat trick of the season, the blues went in 5-0 at the break 💪

Slightly stepping off the gas abit in the 2nd half the away side found the net from a set piece and also from a corner. Not long after Jake Rennison sealed the game with a great strike for Embsay’s making it 6-2 at Full Time 🔵

Back on home soil ⚽️🔵💪

After 12 years, we have football back in the Village 😍

On Wednesday night Embsay face Sutton FC in their first proper home game back in the village since the reform, the lads go in to the match off the back of 3 wins out of 3 so will be hoping to keep the good form going 💪

As always all support is welcome, however can we please remind EVERYONE TO PARK ON SHIRES LANE and take the 1 minute walk down to the pitch. Under any circumstance please DO NOT park on the new Woolers estate, Hawks View - thank you 👏

3 goals, 3 points & a clean sheet 💪⚽️🟠

On Wednesday night the lads claimed their 3rd win of the season away at Colne United FC. After a frantic first half an hour, centre half Harry Ayrton put Embsay ahead with a header from a corner. The lads had plenty of chances to put the game to bed but frustratingly couldn’t capitalise.

The physical home side battled well and had a few chances themselves. However the boys hard work and determination saw two more goals come from Charlie Dawson & Jacob Ratcliffe, which secured the lads another 3 points on the board 🟠💪
