What a superb evening of hill climbing on Kaimes Road on Wednesday! Moody conditions to add to the intimidating gradient...
Ben Millar (1:41) absolutely lit it up with an outrageous winning time and new Strava KOM, making him the newly crowned King of Kaimes! Cameron Ritchie (1:50) and Steven Riley (1:59) claiming second and third.
Skye Ballance (3:13) took the Queen of Kaimes title, with Ross Taylor (2:11) winning best Vet and Hamish Mates (2:15) taking best junior.

Vigo's beans didn't arrive in time for the event, so these will be the spot prizes and we'll let the winners know in due course.
It's still important to remember the significance of the 2 trophies that Graeme and his dad made.
Pippa Handley was a our first women's winner of this race in 2014 and suffered a tragic, untimely death in 2018. The Queen of Kaimes is The Pippa Handley trophy.
Lewis Oliphant was the first men's winner of this race also in 2014 and, in an unbelievable and shocking turn of events, also died a young man in 2018. The King of Kaimes is The Lewis Oliphant Trophy.
Both Pippa and Lewis were talented riders. stalwarts of Scottish cycling and the best people. Whilst this is a fun event, we remember them every year.
Thank you to all the competitors and especially to ERC for the organisation. We both intend to get this firmly re-established on the calendar.
