Merchiston Tennis Club Merchiston Tennis prides itself for being a friendly, local tennis club for adults and children of all abilities. Welcome to Merchiston Tennis Club, Edinburgh.

We have 3 all-weather artificial grass courts, an active coaching programme for adults & juniors and a lively clubhouse social calendar. We are a local friendly club, and we share the facilities with Merchiston Bowling Club - the combined club (Merchiston Tennis & Bowling Club) runs a busy Clubhouse with Bar, Large-screen TV and changing rooms/toilets/showers etc. The Clubhouse is open year-round

(though less in the winter). The club has a membership section for Standard Life employees, who use the courts as normal members. The club aims to attract family members with children and build on its coaching and other attractions. We rely on the support of our members and their families to make our events, especially social ones, a success. Membership is open for applications. Please note that Merchiston Castle tennis club is completely separate from Merchiston Tennis Club and can be located in south-west Edinburgh. The 'Tennis Academy' is based at Merchiston Castle tennis club, not here. Tennis Facilities:

We have a fantastic weekend of Tennis at Merchiston with all funds raised going to Alzheimer Scotland

Saturday is host to Club Championships starting at 8.30am with our best Junior and finishing with the adult ones later in the afternoon. A BBQ will be on throughout the day and we will have chef Brett making pizzas early evening, plus DJ Alan will stop by after touring Europe in the last weeks.

Sunday we will have a pickleball tournament from 10am to 1pm for Adults (16yo+) and from 1.30 to 3.30pm for kids (8 to 16yo) with another BBQ. There is no need to book, just come and try!
