☘️ Harp News ☘️

⚽️ The lads return for pre-season training tomorrow in anticipation of the first competitive fixture of the 2026-27 season on Saturday 1st August and we're sure that they are all looking forward to the finely-tuned, intensive training programme designed to get their speed, stamina and strength back up to the required levels.

👏 As some of you will be aware, there have been some close-season personnel changes to report. Our co-manager Mark McDonald has decided to step down from this role; we would like to thank Mark for his willingness to help us when we were obliged to undertake a mid-season wholesale replacement of our management team and for his tremendous competitive spirit.

As a result of this development, Mark Kelly will become manager and will be assisted by Davy Taylor. Danny Edelston remains our goalkeeping coach and we welcome to the management team Ryan Dignan, who is bringing his playing career with us to an end to become a coach - all the best with this new role Ryan!

👏 Last but not least, and due to a few changes in his life circumstances, our man-of-many roles Graham McNicoll has decided to cease his involvement with the Harp and step away from football. He leaves with our best wishes and our gratitude for all his endeavours over the past few years.

☘️ Harp Helpers ☘️

We are looking for new volunteers to help with the Harp's off-field activities next season. Our match-day and commercial opportunities include:

🪉 overseeing the squad's training and playing kits and ensuring that these are prepared for match days and that stock numbers are maintained.

🪉 Gate - being the first point-of-contact for spectators and handling admission cash/card payments.

🪉 Shop - selling hot and cold refreshments to spectators.

🪉 Maintaining relationships with our existing club and player sponsors; establishing new relationships and undertaking various fundraising activities throughout the season as appropriate.
