James is a central defender who joins us from Godmanchester Rovers. He brings plenty of experience, having previously represented King’s Lynn Town and Soham Town Rangers, as well as spending time on loan at Biggleswade Town.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences go out to the family and friends of Quevin Castro following the heartbreaking news yesterday.

Although Quevin was only with Downham Town FC for a short period, he made a lasting impression. His friends and family quickly became part of our club, and his presence was felt both on and off the pitch.

This is a huge loss to the footballing community in Norfolk. Quevin was a much-loved player in the area and will be remembered fondly by so many.

Our thoughts are with everyone who knew and loved him. ❤️
