Inside Game and Eugene Creaney SportsMedia are again delighted to be partnering up with Watters Old Coach Inn Castleblayney for two fantastic competition giveaway prizes of a meal for two.
Louth v Armagh - Prize 1
Monaghan v Roscommon - Prize 2

To enter is simple, just follow these rules:

โœ… Predict the correct score of one or both games

Perfectly acceptable to make separate and different entries on both Inside Game and Eugene Creaney SportsMedia platforms as long as above rules are followed on both.

If no exact score is predicted, it will go the closest matching scoreline. Accumulated points total/goals/points in that order.

Best of luck in the competition everyone.

6000 tickets for Inniskeen and Armagh's season ticket holders (believed to be 3500) were all given an option to buy.
Tickets sold rapidly so it's likely most or all of the 3.5k were taken up.

Confusion regarding "first come first served".
It was alerted to season ticket members that tickets only guaranteed entry but location within the ground thereafter relating to seats etc was on a first come first served basis.

No additional tickets on sale beyond the initial 6000.

No extra tickets will be released for Sundayโ€™s Louth versus Armagh All-Ireland Championship clash at Inniskeenโ€™s Pairc Grattan, the GAA has confirmed.

The 6,000 tickets for the eagerly-awaited derby sold out rapidly and rumours have been swirling among fans that a further 1000 will be available at the gate on a first-come, first-served basis on the morning of the game.

With literally zero previous championship meetings between the sides it is only league football where Louth and Armagh have faced off against each other.

The most recent and also the most relevant matchup, considering plenty of players still remain for both counties, is the 2024 encounter in the Athletic Grounds; right at the very start of the Division 2 League campaign.

Most people watching would have taken notice of Louth that evening and their trajectory ever since has been an upward one.

Conor Grimes shot Louth into a four point lead part way through the second half, but Stefan Campbell lead the charge kicking three excellent points and eventually sending Armagh into a late two point advantage.

Ciaran Downey blasted over a nice point to keep the score to the bare minimum which gave Sam Mulroy one last opportunity to draw equal with a '45', but against a difficult wind he was unable to convert.

Armagh would go on to lose by a single point in the league final to Donegal in an otherwise undefeated league campaign and also lose out on penalties in the Ulster Final to the same opposition, again remaining undefeated elsewhere on the way to lifting Sam Maguire.

Louth have since progressed to two consecutive Leinster finals securing the Delaney Cup for themselves in 2025.

Interesting that the decision for this would rest with Louth

Interesting that the decision for this would rest with Louth

Armagh have been refused permission to train on the Inniskeen pitch ahead of this weekendโ€™s All-Ireland Championship clash with Louth, The Irish News understands.

According to reports, Louth have denied Kieran McGeeneyโ€™s men the opportunity to hold a session at Pairc Grattan, the Monaghan venue which will stage Sundayโ€™s round 2A derby.

A place in the All-Ireland Quarter final is up for grabs next weekend when Armagh make the short trip to Inniskeen to take on the 2025 Leinster Champions Louth.

The Round 2A draw saw the "Wee County" awarded the home tie, they elected for the county Monaghan venue and the CCCC decided not to utilise their power afforded to them in section 6.12 (J) of the rulebook.

Much like the "Corrigan or nowhere" standoff in last year's Ulster Championship, the online uproar was only from supporters, but in admirable fashion the Armagh County board, management and players remain focused on playing where the fixture is set.

Whilst Armagh will be favourites, Louth pose a serious threat. Sam Mulroy is an elite forward, Conor Grimes and Craig Lennon are excellent and their upturn in fortunes at youth level is now starting to bear fruit. Against Dublin last time out, the bench made a massive difference in the closing stages in Croke Park.

Armagh are now 5 wins from 5 in the championship and have two chances to reach their 5th consecutive All-Ireland quarter final. Another mark of a particularly consistent era of Armagh football.

Stay tuned in for build-up during the week and look out for the upcoming Inside Game Podcast with a former Louth footballer guest appearance.

๐Ÿ†All-Ireland SFC Round 2A โ€“ Armagh vs Louth
The All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Round 2A fixture between Armagh and Louth will take place on Sunday 14th June 2026 at 1:00pm in Pรกirc Grattan, Inniskeen, Co. Monaghan.

Due to the limited capacity of the venue, we are unfortunately not in a position to provide a club allocation for this fixture, nor will tickets be available for general sale online. This is due to the number of season ticket holders, as well as the competing county and GAA central allocations.
The fixture will be broadcast live on RTร‰.

Season ticket holders will be given the opportunity to purchase tickets and will receive communication from GAA Season Tickets regarding this process. This will be a general admission fixture, with seating and standing available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Armagh GAA are not in a position to take ticket orders from the general public, as we have only received a limited allocation for this fixture.
We appreciate this may be disappointing for supporters; however, the situation is outside our control.

We thank you for your understanding.
