Run Revolution Welcome to Run Revolution, a new running and fitness club for kids and adults alike. I have a passion for running and fitness.

I am keen to revitalise running for kids in Caithness and the surrounding areas, providing fun and inclusive sessions for all.

We’ve had some brilliant sessions take place over the past weeks/months, the kids have worked incredibly hard with a smile on their faces which is what our club is all about.

Sessions available this week are as follows;

Friday 1:45pm @ Rise Dance academy - Thurso, 4 to 8 years

Friday 3:30pm @ Recreation Park - Halkirk 4 to 7 years

Friday 4:30pm @ Recreation Park - Halkirk 8 to 13 years

Saturday 10:30am @ The Dammies - Thurso - Enhancing Performance 8+ years

Our sessions are designed for all abilities (ages 4+) and focus on helping children:

Nigel Mackenzie, former captain of Wick Academy and Brora Rangers, brings over 30 years of senior football experience. An avid runner with 8 marathons and countless races from 5k to half marathons under his belt, Nigel knows what it takes to win. Most importantly, he knows what it takes to push your limits and be the best you can be. Nigel understands the drive required to succeed. Now, he’s passing that mindset on to the next generation. Join him to learn what it takes to truly succeed in your sport.

Hope everyone has had a happy Easter and enjoying the holiday period.

We will be back this week for the start of another 4 week block in Wick, Thurso and Halkirk.

Get the kids along for some fun interactive fitness sessions, these sessions are hard work without the kids really realising so an excellent way to burn off that excess energy.

Passes available of you would like to benefit from discounts, these are flexible for use which means if a date in the block isn’t suitable you can use them at a later date.

Thank you all so much for your continued patience and support. We’re delighted to let you know that our newly revamped booking system is now live!

We’ve made things much easier and more flexible:

✨ Single‑session bookings are now available
✨ Class passes (4–16 sessions) can be purchased at discounted rates
✨ Sibling discounts are built in
✨ No need to commit to dates upfront — your pass credits stay valid until you use them

This means you can book only the sessions you can attend, while still benefiting from discounted options if you prefer.

Wick:
• 19/02
• 26/02
• 05/03
• 12/03

Thurso & Halkirk:
• 20/02
• 27/02
• 06/03
• 13/03

All venue and timing details are available on our poster and in the booking system.

If you previously booked the 4‑week block and have already attended a session, your block will be reset so you receive the full 4 weeks starting from the new dates above.
