The results of our pre season doubles tournament , held at Garvestone VH ,are now published and it was a fun but busy night with six teams playing 5 matches each .Team Eagles ( Paul Brown and Dominic Elrington) won by 2 points over The Hawks (Mark Bishop and Oliver Hood). Next week sees the first weeks matches of our 26/27 season , with new teams , new players and a new cup competition .

Some great 🏓 at the Norfolk inter league championships ,hosted by Wensum TTC, yesterday and our Dereham players did us proud winning two competitions , Alan Nicholls and Paul Pegg in the over 60’s and Oliver Hood and Mason Anema- Moran in the under 19’s competition 👏. Thanks to the organisers for a great event 👍 .

Our opening season doubles tournament will be held at Garvestone VH on Tuesday 15th September, match at 7.30pm and doors at 7.15pm. Entries are invited via our website form or email [email protected] and will be the same format as last year with a round robin based on 12 players and entry £5 on the door. Please get your entry in soonest, first come first served basis.

Our social sessions start back at The Dereham Leisure centre on Saturday 5th September from 10am to 12 noon. Open to all for a modest fee of £4 adults and £2.50 for under 18’s .
Our league season starts up w/c 21st September and a date for you diary our opening pre season doubles tournament will be on Tuesday 15th September 7.30pm at Garvestone VH , more information and entry forms will be posted up next week .

Our 25/26 season ended with our 76th AGM held at Yaxham village hall on the 12th May and it was great to see such a good turnout with 20+ members in attendance. Trophies were awarded by our president Dave Attridge ,to some of our League winners namely Gt Dunham C who won the 3rd division, in their second season in the league and Yaxham B who won the handicap cup. Medals were also given out to winners and runners up from our annual championships for those that couldn’t stay to collect them.
Our seasons winners: -
Div 1 - The Mission, Div 1 cup – The Mission and congratulations to Robin Thaxter for a 100%-win rate this season.
Div 2 - Yaxham A, Div 2 cup - Dereham C
Div 3- Gt Dunham C, Div 3 cup – The Townshend club.
Handicap cup - Yaxham B.
