National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)

Want a career in the leisure industry? Our NPLQ course, accredited by the Royal Life Saving Society, is the UK and Ireland's most widely held lifeguard qualification and a genuine first step into roles from pool lifeguard to centre management.

Over 5 days you'll cover pool rescue techniques, lifeguarding theory, and first aid & CPR, finishing with a full assessment. Once qualified, your NPLQ is valid for 2 years.

Fancy taking on a Triathlon?

Perth Tri Club are looking for teams to join this year’s Relay Wild Triathlon, taking place at Strathearn Community Campus and around Crieff on Sunday 20th September!

Teams of four will take it in turns to complete a 160m pool swim, 10km bike, and 1km run, before passing their tag on to the next teammate. It’s short, fun, and perfect for all levels - whether you’re trying something new or getting competitive with friends.

Entries close this Sunday, 6th September, so now’s the moment to get your team together.

At the moment, Relay Wild Triathlon is not reaching the minimum number of entries required for us to run the event.

We really want to make this event happen, but unless we reach the required numbers, we will unfortunately have no choice but to cancel.

⚠️ Planned Power Outage – Strathearn Community Campus

We want to give you a heads-up about a planned power outage at Strathearn Community Campus this Thursday. Here's what it means for your visit:

🏊‍♂️ Swimming Pool
Open as normal 07:15 – 10:00
Swimming lessons resume from 15:45
Public swimming resumes 19:00 – 21:30

🏋️ All Other Facilities
Open as usual 07:15 – 10:00 and 14:00 – 21:30

Parents with children in our pre-school swimming classes affected by the closure will be contacted directly by our venue team.
