A good challenge for all golfers with different tees front and back nine - friendly welcome in our clubhouse and great pro shop on site. Pop in for a round and you'll be greeted with a smile.

Today was our Ladies Halloween Social Golf. So the Liliput Bar and Restaurant has been suitably spookily decorated and our Pro Shop has some Halloween limited edition Callaway golf balls on sale! It has to be said that no "scary" costumes can hide the fact that our Ladies really are incredibly friendly!!

Storm Austen may have given us a fair amount of rain yesterday but finishing touches this morning from the greenkeepers and we're open and the sun is shining for now! Get your round in before the rain arrives later today, visitors welcome and green fees from just £22 for 9 holes this morning.

The signature par 3 hole here at Holtye requires an accurate shot with the correct club to find a narrow green. Guarded by a deep bunker on the right, it's tempting to miss to the left and hope the steep slope will feed your ball down to the putting surface. But as many players will have found out, if it doesn't, the resulting chip shot from a down slope with a bunker behind the green makes for a perilous up and down!

What a gorgeous day here at Holtye today, the golf course is looking fantastic too!

18 holes from 1 PM for just £24 per person, 9 holes now for £16 dropping to as little as £10 per person from 2 PM.

Noticed that the nights are drawing in? Don't worry, we've brought our twilight time forward to 2 PM so you can take advantage of reduced rates thanks to the reduced light! Play 9 holes from as little as £10 per person every day of the week.

Our third hole here at Holtye requires an accurate tee shot and nerves of steel to take on the narrow entrance to the green with your second shot.

We wrapped up our Autumn course maintenance on Wednesday evening, reopening for play on Thursday morning.

Hats off to Darren, Dan, Daniel, Russell and Mark for their incredible work to get everything done in time despite the rain on Tuesday when they managed to replace the mats in the nets with new astroturf ready for the Winter.

We've also taken the opportunity to tidy up around the clubhouse and paint the mens changing rooms whilst the course was closed.

The team were ably assisted by a number of members who we are hugely grateful to.

Green fees are currently reduced to reflect the work on the greens.

Congratulations to our Holtye team of Val Ward, Sue Scaife and Sue McDonnell who represented us yesterday at the
Presidents’ Day Cup held at Bognor Regis Golf Club.

Organised by the SCLGA, 42 teams of 3 took part from all over Sussex with our dream team coming second with a score of 82, having been beaten to first place by Chartham Park with a close score of 84. Well done ladies!
