Tomorrow our former Mini wheats player Sienna is playing in the U16 National Cup final at Sixways Stadium Worcester against Bristol North RFC (62 teams entered and now down to the final 2) Sienna was an integral part of the WHEATS triple Warwickshire Cup winning U16 team from U7’s through to U12’s until she was required to join a girls team.

She joined Barkers at U12 onwards and tomorrow’s sees her last involvement at U16 level in what should be a great game (KO 10:30). We are immensely proud of Sienna’s development and have enjoyed watching her progression under Glen & Ginge at Barkers and we hope they can go on to lift the trophy!

11 seasons ago, this was our very first Mini Wheats age group.

Yesterday, our now u16s completed their journey in incredible style… Warwickshire Cup winners for the third season in a row
🏆🏆🏆

From being our first-ever minis to making club history — what a story, what a team. Proud doesn’t even come close.

A game of two halves, a 28-7 lead at half-time and a couple of disallowed tries early in the second half wasn't enough to deter Kenilworth RFC who provided the crowd with a game to remember with some comeback but the boys held on. A worthy last dance between these sets of boys who have battled hard on the field over the years and become great friends off it 💙

Unfortunately Tamworth 2’s have pulled out the fixture for the 1stXV game so that’s the season done and dusted for the boys 💙

But don’t fear our Wheats Stags game is still on 😃

Kick off is 13:00!

Come down have a beer and watch some absolute Wheats legends play Old Northamptonians Vets! Followed by a BBQ and many beers 🍻
