Emilates Certified APPI Pilates instructor, providing Matwork Pilates classes in Colchester to adults and kids

Hello, my name is Emilie and I am a fully certified APPI Matwork Pilates teacher. I am a firm believer that physical exercise has to be enjoyed to have any kind of impact on our physical health. I have never been one to go to the gym but with recurrent back problems I knew I needed to do some kind of physical activity and enjoy it! So 15 years ago I went to my first one 2 one Pilates session and never looked back! I loved how Pilates combined the mind and the body to enable us to develop strength, stamina, flexibility, mobility thus achieving paramount body form.

​Along my journey of practicing Pilates, I discovered the APPI Institute. APPI is a Physiotherapy lead Pilates method which, through a sequenced series of flowing movement that work on the principles of building core strength and control, will develop a strong body that is more efficient in daily activities.

​Thanks to Pilates I am now starting a new chapter of my life and I am looking forward to meeting you soon to share my experience and enthusiasm for Pilates! Qualifications:
