🏉 Welcome Back, Coach Lorenzo! 🏉

Clacton Rugby Club is delighted to confirm that Lorenzo will return as the Senior Men's Head Coach for the 2026/27 season.

Lorenzo's passion, leadership, and commitment to the club have been instrumental in helping drive standards both on and off the pitch, and we're excited to continue building together for the season ahead.

As we look forward to another season, Lorenzo will once again lead our players and men's coaching team, helping to develop talent, strengthen the squad, and build on the progress made in recent years.

Everyone at the club is looking forward to working alongside Lorenzo and wishes him every success for the season ahead.

🏉 Welcome to the Coaching Team, Ole Williams! 🏉

We're delighted to welcome Ole Williams to Clacton Rugby Club.

Ole is a Level 2 and Level 3 qualified Personal Trainer with a passion for strength and conditioning, athlete development, and helping players reach their full potential.

Having spent the last few years developing his knowledge of training, fitness, and performance, Ole joins the club eager to support our players both on and off the field.

🏉 A huge congratulations to our coaches on completing their England Rugby Coaching Award (ERCA)! 🏉

Clacton Rugby Club are incredibly proud to announce that Kirstie, Tina, B, Mick and Ben have all successfully completed their England Rugby Coaching Award.

The ERCA is the first step on the England Rugby coaching pathway, equipping coaches with the knowledge, skills and confidence to deliver safe, enjoyable and inclusive rugby sessions. The course focuses on player welfare, creating positive experiences, developing coaching techniques and bringing the core values of rugby to life.

Having five more qualified coaches within our club is a fantastic achievement and shows the commitment, passion and dedication our volunteers have towards developing the next generation of players.

A huge thank you to Kirstie, Tina, B, Mick and Ben for giving up their time to learn, improve and support our players. We are incredibly proud to have you as part of the Clacton Rugby family.

One for the diary - please show your support to our U15’s team who are kicking off their first fund raising event.
Saturday 18th July starting at 10am - a 24hr team walk along with a camp out to ensure the treadmill has feet on it at all times 👣
This will be a team effort led by their Captain 🧢 Freddie Hurrell 🏉
Please do come over and pop a few 💷 in the buckets.
The boys will be selling burgers, hot dogs and drink throughout the day - will the Bar be open? Of course the bar will be open.
Bring a chair and come and support our event.
We are hoping for a nice sunny day and let’s just see where the day takes us.
We are hoping to have a show of our regular Ice Cream lady who support all our events.
