🏉 A huge congratulations to our coaches on completing their England Rugby Coaching Award (ERCA)! 🏉

Clacton Rugby Club are incredibly proud to announce that Kirstie, Tina, B, Mick and Ben have all successfully completed their England Rugby Coaching Award.

The ERCA is the first step on the England Rugby coaching pathway, equipping coaches with the knowledge, skills and confidence to deliver safe, enjoyable and inclusive rugby sessions. The course focuses on player welfare, creating positive experiences, developing coaching techniques and bringing the core values of rugby to life.

Having five more qualified coaches within our club is a fantastic achievement and shows the commitment, passion and dedication our volunteers have towards developing the next generation of players.

A huge thank you to Kirstie, Tina, B, Mick and Ben for giving up their time to learn, improve and support our players. We are incredibly proud to have you as part of the Clacton Rugby family.

🏉 Clacton Rugby Club has been delighted to support Ravens Academy, with Coach B delivering rugby sessions during PE lessons and after-school clubs.

As a club, we were proud to provide a selection of rugby boots for the children. A huge thank you must go to Rhino, who enabled us to purchase more boots than planned along with additional balls for the sessions.

We’d like to thank Ravens Academy for welcoming us and supporting the programme. Most importantly, a massive well done to all the children who take part – your enthusiasm, effort, and enjoyment have been fantastic to see.

We hope to see many of you down at Clacton Rugby Club very soon! 🏉💙💛

One for the diary - please show your support to our U15’s team who are kicking off their first fund raising event.
Saturday 18th July starting at 10am - a 24hr team walk along with a camp out to ensure the treadmill has feet on it at all times 👣
This will be a team effort led by their Captain 🧢 Freddie Hurrell 🏉
Please do come over and pop a few 💷 in the buckets.
The boys will be selling burgers, hot dogs and drink throughout the day - will the Bar be open? Of course the bar will be open.
Bring a chair and come and support our event.
We are hoping for a nice sunny day and let’s just see where the day takes us.
We are hoping to have a show of our regular Ice Cream lady who support all our events.

A HUGE thank you to all the local businesses who kindly donated raffle prizes for our quiz night that took place last night! 🎉

Thanks to your amazing support, the night was a great success and helped raise valuable funds for our mini and youth teams.

We truly appreciate the generosity of our local community — we couldn’t do it without you!
