Hot (literally π₯΅) on the heels of spring race season, May has brought another bumper round-up for .
Kicking off with Al, who achieved not one, nor two β but FOUR PBs in the space of 5 weeks! Post-marathon ( #1), he smashed his 5 km time ( #2 and #3) and broke the hour for the first time at Caerphilly 10k ( #4). π

Likewise Ben β another recent marathoner β started and ended the month with two 5 km PBs, getting ever close to that sub-20.π
π
aand can you spot a theme? Bron comes from her ultra training block to knock 90 secs+ off her 5 km time! π
Lorraine continues her glittering year with yet another PB at Barry 10k. π
Gary completed his objective of going one lap further than last year in the Tenacious 10 and being one half of the winning duo team in the process. π₯
Jen shows consistency pays off β completing her challenge of running every day (RED), smashing her expectations in the first GLCL race AND running her fastest (non-woof powered) parkrun for over a decade! πππ
Grace starts collecting PBs in training for fun, and like Jen runs a stormer at the first GLCL. π At the second, Caldicot participated for the first time β with Sarah, Borja, Laura and Ben running brilliantly over a hilly course. π
Louise the runner is now also Louise the swimmer, completing her first aquathlon AND swim race, while Gav is part way through his mile a day challenge. ππ»ββοΈπ
S&C clients Sorin completed UTS (beating my time from a previous year), and James PBs in the first (!) of his 5 km race season. Over at Bristol half, Chloe and Peter both PB and Chris achieves his aim of running niggle-free. πͺ
My own training is ramping up - thanks to Katie for joining me for a recce (running her first ultra in the process.) π₯
And as ever, shout outs to those in the depths of training β from our ultra team into their longest runs, to our 5k and 10k speedsters clocking up intervals, to our S&C squad lifting and jumping. All of this in 3 billion degree heat! π«
Well done everyone β whether racing, training, or recovering β you're all superstars π
