Here are Charlotte’s Top Three Desert Island Exercises to Mobilise Your Spine — simple, effective, and perfect when your body feels tight or sluggish:
✨ Cobra
Opens up the chest, gently extends the spine, and helps counteract all that forward posture (hello, desk life).
✨ Cat / Extended Cat
Encourages full spinal movement — flexion and extension — helping to release tension and improve overall mobility.
✨ Threading the Needle
Targets rotation through the upper back, easing tightness and improving mobility where we often hold the most stiffness.
👉 Aim for 10 reps, or 5 each side where needed. Move slowly, breathe deeply, and let your spine unwind.
