18th hole - Birdie seekers must hit a long drive, avoiding fairway bunkers on the right. With the ground tumbling downhill over the final 130 yards, an iron may suffice to reach the small green, but a mish*t could find the Mobberley Brook on the left or the hill on the right, ruining any chances.

Chris Billows - The Wilmslow Golf Club's new Club Professional....As only the fifth Head Professional in the club’s 137 year history, Chris takes on a role that reflects both the traditions of the club and its ongoing development.

Chris joined in March 2021 as an Assistant Professional before being appointed to the role in 2026. Chris turned professional at 18 beginning his career at The Belfry before moving to Gleneagles, where he was part of the professional team during the 2014 Ryder Cup, supporting operations and player services throughout the event. Chris later spent several years at Abu Dhabi Golf Club as a PGA Teaching Pro.

As Head Professional, Chris remains actively involved in coaching and custom fitting, utilising Foresight Sports technology to deliver a data-driven, tailored approach that helps members maximise both performance and enjoyment.

Chris is committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for members and visitors, while developing a professional service and team that the club can be proud of.
