Castle Douglas pupil Jack Peacock has agreed to join the club from St Cuthberts U17’s. Jack played a part in them winning the league and two cups.

Jack will provide competition in the midfield and forward areas and we look forward to him progressing with the club.

Jack joins David and Thomas in the squad that are current pupils from CD High School ⚽️

We thank Razor from Saints for making this as easy as possible to do 🤝

Defenders Caleb Ross and Luca Robertson have both joined us from Lochar Thistle 20’s. The boys joined them team for training at the end of the season and have fitted into the group before we start pre season next week.

Both boys have experience of a year playing in the 20’s league so know what to expect next season. We look forward to both boys adding depth to the defensive area of the squad ⚫️⚪️

Duncan Kingsley has agreed to join the club from Gretna 20’s where he won the League last season.

Delighted to get another left footer into the squad to give us balance, something we’ve never really had in past seasons.

Threave 20’s are delighted to announce Daniel Fyall has agreed to join us from Queen of the South.

17 year old centre back Daniel has a reputation for being one of the best defenders in Dumfries and Galloway so we are thrilled to get him on board.

Daniel will bring leadership qualities, strength and desire to win to the group. A massive signing for us as we continue to revamp the squad this summer.

We announced back in January that we had been successful in our application for the Pitching In Fund, supported by the UK Government. Funding was also supported by The Holywood Trust, The Scottish Football Partnership Trust and local funds.

As shown in the aerial photo taken last weekend, work on our new 3G facility is progressing well and is due to be completed within the next two months.

Once completed, the facility will benefit not just the club, but the whole community ⚽️

The coaching team of Scott Wilby, Shaun Milligan and Liam Patterson have extended their stay to keep on coaching the Under 20’s ⚽️

We caught up with all three who had a little bit to say regarding the close season and heading into next season

‘We are delighted to stay and keep on pushing the younger boys upwards towards the first team, next season will be massive as everything is going to be based in Castle Douglas with the new facility being built as we speak. Having local boys has always been important at the 20’s.
Jayden, Rory, Thomas Brown, Thomas Lake, Crouchy, Fraser and David all already signed with another pupil from CD High school still to be announced shows we are keeping the local boys as the core of our side.

The last 3 years has been brilliant, we’ve helped so many boys, not just with Threave but with other clubs and also a couple of boys with moves to America. It’s pleasing to see these boys going from strength to strength and knowing that Threave have played a part in their development.

The highlights being the runs in the cups, watching boys develop further in football and also in life and seeing boys step up and make their debuts and playing for the First team. Harry, Louis and Owen becoming main players for the first team while numerous other boys filter between the two sides.

Next season is going to be a new group with a complete new stamp on it, with the way we are shaping up so far, it’s looking like we are going to have our strongest crop of boys at the 20’s. We start back up on the 15th of June, first game is early July so everything is prepared for the boys to fulfil their potential.

We thank not just last years sponsors but everyone who has continued to show support towards us through the last 3 years, with a new season coming, we would be grateful of any sponsorship towards keeping the 20’s going. The club are delighted to announce Loui Currie has agreed to sign for season 2026/27.

Loui previously was at Queen of the South so it’s a coup to get him over the line before pre season starts next month. Another quality addition to add to the squad as we continue to rebuild the group.

We look forward to seeing him enjoying his football at Threave and bringing his all action game to the team 🖤🤍
