Calne Junior Badminton Club JANUARY SALE

Looking for a fun, easy and enjoyable low cost way to get fit and meet new people this January?

Why not try Badminton? Calne Junior Badminton Club runs sessions everyday of the week, Monday to Friday in Beversbrook, Calne Community Campus Leisure Centre, St Mary's Sports Centre Sports Hall, and Notton House Academy venues.

Sessions are for all abilities, ages and levels of fitness.

We are offering new and returning players two free weeks of sessions in January plus half price sessions up to the end of February 2023.

We are also offering new members a significant reduction in our annual membership fee AND a free club t-shirt if you join before the end of February. Message us to find out more information.

We are starting two new junior sessions for Calne Junior Badminton Club in 2023 with more to follow….

Mondays 5-6 pm from 6th February 2023 at Beversbrook Community Pavilion hall. This will be a play session with no coaching. This has one court.

Fridays 6-8 pm from a date to be finalised at Notton House Academy. This will be a play session with some coaching. This has two courts.

Our nightly fees are as follows:-

Social sessions with no coaching - matches and games.

£3 a session

Coaching sessions with a level 2 DBS checked coach.

£5 a session.

If you volunteer at a session you get 10% off the fees.

We also have a ‘carnet’ 10 session offer, buy 9 sessions up front and get a session free.

We are looking at greater discounts for more upfront payments.

Also looking at a monthly direct debit scheme whereby you pay £20-25 a month and get a free month of sessions.

Our annual membership for junior members of any age has been reduced to £10 per year.

Was formerly £15.

Other badminton clubs charge a fortune in fees and we’ve always had very competitive prices.

Check us out, every Thursday at Calne Leisure Centre 7 - 9 pm

No experience required. We can loan you a racket if you don’t have one.

Calne Junior Badminton Club has plenty of space for junior players of all ages.

Why not come down to our friendly and fun coaching session every Thursday between 7 pm and 9 pm at Calne Community Campus sports hall.

Get a free week taster and sign up for our inexpensive junior club.

We offer:-

Coaching by level 2 and level 1 coaches with over 20 years coaching experience.

Learn the fundamentals of badminton footwork, individual forehand and backhand shots as well as tactics during matches.

Experience using Blazepods reaction lights.

Experience using our own shuttlecock launcher - the only one in Wiltshire we believe in a club!

We have plenty of fun coaching aids as well, and can loan you a racket if you don’t have one.

We are developing a player development pathway (PDP) to develop players of all ages and abilities along their badminton journey in the autumn.

It will offer certificates at every stage and be focused on key skills.

There are opportunities to play in local junior league teams as well as progress to play for county with our performance session and beyond.

A substantial investment in coaches and equipment is being made to develop the programme. Watch this space.
