Marion’s 15 Years of Service! 🥳❤️

Today marks 15 years since Marion became a part of the Arran Active family, all the way back in the original Cladach shop! 🤯

Marion truly is an asset to the team - hardworking, attentive, loyal, always up for whatever silly TikTok idea we present her with and the first to make us all giggle with her infectious laugh. We are all so grateful to have worked with and learned from her!

A message from Andrew on this special day:
“Back in 2010/11 Marion was our best customer, with impeccable taste and a keen eye for new styles. So, it made sense to ask her to do a few shifts for Arran Active to help us out. Fair to say that 15 years on, Marion has put in a good shift, still the arbiter of good taste, a great model and the most loyal colleague (and friend). Thank you so much… here’s to a few more shifts yet!”

Team Adventures - Summer Roundup! 🤩

What a fantastic, busy season it's been on the island this year! Now that the summer months are coming to an end and things are getting a little quieter, we thought we'd show off some of the awesome adventures our team have managed to squeeze in alongside busy days in the shop!

Lots of time spent getting lost in the hills (on Arran and beyond!), exploring wider Scotland and even jetting off further afield ⛰😍

NEW PET BRAND! 🐶🐾

We’re very excited to be stocking Petface, our newest pet brand, which will allow us to expand our pet range and stock a much wider range of pet accessories and training aids! 😍

Most importantly for summer, we now stock a range of cooling products for dogs - including cooling towels, jackets and bandanas (now we just need the sun to come back!) 🧊

Shop Petface in store and online now! And keep your eyes peeled as we continue to expand our range over the next few months - we may just have something up our sleeves for those other furry friends in your life… 🐱

This lovely warm weather we've been having unfortunately also means that we are now experiencing a very high wildfire risk! 🔥

Please be careful and remain vigilant when exploring the outdoors during this time - refrain from lighting any fires (including disposable barbecues), and ensure you take all litter home with you.

Keep an eye out on NTS Arran Ranger Service and Scottish Fire and Rescue Service for continued warning updates and take care!

A very high wildfire risk is forecast across central highlands, southern and eastern Scotland later this week and into the weekend.

If you're enjoying the warmer weather, please do so responsibly. One spark can start a wildfire that destroys property, wildlife and landscapes.

Stay vigilant, even if a warning is not in place in your area.
