So pleased to be a part of Stoke & Torbay Police FC.

Alongside our fantastic Legacy Day on Saturday 21st March, Stoke Gabriel & Torbay Police FC, celebrated the grand opening of our newly named home ground, Sports Lighting Stadium.

The ribbon was cut by our ground sponsor, Kim Prestwood of Sports Lighting, with our Club Chairman and Club Secretary holding the ribbon, a proud moment shared by everyone involved in the club.

A big step forward as we continue to build for the future while honouring our past.

Back in November, our home game v Bridport was postponed due to weather. We were due to open the ‘Sports Lighting Stadium’ then.

As such, we will be opening it today instead!

We look forward to seeing Sports Lighting here later 🙌

LONDON SCHOOLS.

Called in again to two schools in London to lower and raise 16mt Towermaster and Christies lighting columns.

The electricians did not have the Hydraulic Rams to lower the columns.

Sports Lighting has approx 12 Hydraulic Rams to lower columns from 4mts to 22mts high, including Abacus, Towermaster, CU Phosco and Stainton/Valmont.

Successful day got 95% of the lights working.

The Contractors were well happy.

Sports Lighting does it again, pushing the boundaries and getting the job done.

We got on so well on the first day, we had a free day in London, happy days.

York Leisure Centre

3g Hockey/Football Pitch. Removed 24 old Metal Halide Fittings. Replaced with 16 state of the art Philips LEDs to give an average lux level of over 350 lx. Brilliant uniformity. The client was well please.

This one was a trying installation. Towermaster columns, no problem as Sports Lighting has 95% of Hydraulic Rams to lower all columns from 4mt to 22mts high.

On one side of the 3g it was grass and 2 of the columns could not be brought down, as they were to near the fence. We had to use a Cherry Picker, but first we had to get to the 3g pitch with the Cherry Picker, which was across 200mts of grass and 100mts to the end of the pitch. We had to drag our 8ft x 4ft mats back to front, back to front etc etc. 300mts to get to the end of the pitch, and 300mts to get out. We were certainly ready for our evening meal and accommodation.

No installation will ever beat us. Sports Lighting again, doing what we do best.

It’s a pleasures to be part of a superb club with so much to offer

Following the end of our previous sponsorship period with Kia Speedwell, we are delighted to announce that going forward, the ground will be known as the ‘Sports Lighting Stadium’.

We look forward to welcoming Kim Prestwood of Sports Lighting to formally open the new ground prior to Saturdays home fixture against Bridport.

Sir Bernard Lovell Leisure Centre. Keynsham.

Another Leisure centre installation of new Philips LEDs this month in Keynsham by Sports Lighting.

We lowered eight Towermaster columns with Sports Lighting's Hydraulic Ram. Sports Lighting has 95% of Hydraulic Rams to lower lighting columns from 4mts to 22mts high. Including Abacus, Towermaster, Christies, CU Phosco and Stainton Valmont.

We removed 20 old metal halide lights and replaced with 16 new Philips LEDs. The uniformity was brilliant.

The pitch is used for Football and Hockey. The light had to be good for the Hockey, and expressed by one of the clients, "It certainly is, only one word describes it Superb"

We made a few adjustments to the switching to give them just half a pitch if required. The two controller hand sets would give a range of 2000mts in open air to switch which ever half was required.

Just another option to the superb installation by Sports Lighting, and as we say "Doing what we do best"

Merthyr Tydfil Skatepark

Another fantastic Skatepark built by one of the best installers of Skateparks, Bendcrete Leisure Ltd.

We installed 4 x 6mt Aluminium hinged columns. And 4 x Philips LED Clearfloods. The uniformity was brilliant.

The children loved the design of the Skatepark and loved the new lights.

The end client was well impressed.

Just another superb installation by Sports Lighting, doing what we do best. !

Sir Bernard Lovell Leisure Centre.

One of two Leisure centres being done in Keynsham.

Took out 16 old metal halide fittings and replaced with the state of the art Philips Optivision LEDs.

Perfect uniformity all over the pitch. Could not ask for a better installation.

Lowered all the rare Stainton eight columns with Sports Lighting's Hydraulic Ram. We have approx 95% of all Hydraulic Rams to lower all columns from 4mts high to 22mts high.

Sports Lighting has the gear and knowledge which makes us do what we do best !!

Torquay United. Torquay United AFC

Finally we have finished. From taking out 28 old metal halide fittings we installed back in 2008, we have now replaced them with new state of the art Philips LEDs.

All final aiming and lux levels have been done. Superb results from just 4 Philips LEDs on each 26mt column.

The club had there first viewing on Friday night, there were well impressed.

As we say: Sports Lighting doing what we do best.

A big thank you to all concerned at the club, and especially the Football Foundation.
