Cinderford 31 - 48 Clifton 1XVs

A brilliant second-half performance saw Clifton secure an impressive opening day victory away at Cinderford.

After trailing at the break, the lads responded with a high-tempo display, showcasing strong forward work, fast attacking rugby, and excellent fitness to turn the game around.

Harry Tovey crossed twice, with Reece Malone, Pete Carter, Zak Hamid and Andy Thomas also getting on the scoresheet as Clifton powered to a seven-try victory.

A fantastic start to the 2026/27 campaign and a great return to National 2 West rugby! 👏
